I hated the show but I need the figure. I think some people will be kicking themselves later.View attachment 658410
Welp. I decided to jump on this. I know the show wasn't very good but I think Obi-Wan will compliment Vader nicely.

Yeah regardless of the show he's still one of the most iconic characters in Star Wars. Ewan McGregor did a fantastic job with the role. I look forward to having him on my shelf.I hated the show but I need the figure. I think some people will be kicking themselves later.
The show was terrible.
be honest It was ….
not excited by the costume design for this either so easy pass. I am getting Vader but that’s because that scene was cool but as always happy for those who want it.
I feel there was some much potential in an obi wan story and ewan is good.I've been a lifelong fan of SW, and i loved everything up until it was bought by the house of mouse(I've loved sporadic things since then, but that's another story).
The crazy thing was, i was *really* excited for this coming out. Probably more excited than i had been in a loong time for SW content.
And yeah, my opinion was that is was terrible. I haven't shouted it at the rooftops. But i was saddened that this was the way "my" Obi-Wan went out.
Just one man's opinion.
There is going to be a fan edit by a guy who worked on the FX for Andor, and it looks like it's going to be spectacular. The show has a 2 hour movie in it somewhere that's reportedly pretty solid.
Some of the edits I've heard are very good.
I watched it. It's very good. basically the same as what pixeljoker is doing (but without the new FX).Oh, I’ll have to watch Trials of the Master when it’s available.
Did anybody watch the Patterson cut of Kenobi? Apparently he condensed it to a movie sized format.
I much prefer a binge release to a weekly drop for most content and I think the Disney stuff in particular benefits from that. I re-watched BoBF on a single day binge and while it's still no Citizen Kane...it was much more enjoyable.Even as it was airing, I felt like Kenobi was a movie broken into pieces. It's one ongoing story, not like any of the "episodes" had one of storylines with no connection to the other episodes like a typical show would. Even Mando has had some one off episodes.
Parts of it have grown on me over time. Rewatched a few days ago. IMO there's a lot that could have been done better - but -I think the show is fine in it's current form. Could it have been done better? Sure. But it's not like it's awful. I binged it again a few months ago over two nights, and I thought it worked better that way, than it did week to week.
