USB Lightsaber and the base is nice but yikes is that one ROUGH headsculpt. Looks like Chuck Norris and Jeff Bridges had a scary baby.

I'm getting vibes of 2001 The Mummy Returns CGI.

Sure, they might improve it for release but that needs A LOT of improving.

This figure is very much a representative of the show that inspired it.

Good at a glance but not good at all once you really look at it. Just like the show.

Hot Toys once again needing third party competition to push them to make figures they would otherwise never make, it's very interesting to see them make Arthur Morgan since I didn't think they would ever touch those kind of video games agai- wait what? That's not Arthur? Obi-Wan?!?

Yes me too. Surely has to be brighter with a stronger power source you'd think. That has to be a win.

Pros are definitely the USB function and base for me. The head sculp needs work as some here have stated. I don't think Hot Toys will receive as much negative comments as they got with Endgame Tony for instance, but I'm sure they will receive a few.

I'm not to concerned, as all I want is Darth with the cracked helmet and a few of the Stormies.

Sculpt definitely needs work but I like the overall concept. I was ok with on Kenobi, but after watching the Kia cut, there was definitely a great movie in there.

Face looks wrong. It does look ok at certain angles but I have figures that are like that (Asmus Legolas) and they just don't look good enough in hand. I think they will improve it.

surprise factor should be completely eliminated when it comes to this collecting hobby. Collecting should be fun, not to be disappointed after years of waiting. Jyn Erso was the another example but I have no idea how HT could get away with it.

I'm... underwhelmed.

Not just this by sculpt, but by more of the recent ones, actually...

Thor Love and Thunder- Age of Ultron sculpt with added scar
Spider-Man (Garfield) - What seems like the old sculpt with new paint apps.
Wolverine - What looks like the DoFP sculpt with different hair (great sculpt though)
Obi Wan Kenobi - Not their best work.

They sure are trying and upping their game with accessories like the USB lightsaber or the real leather jacket for Wolverine, but they are somewhat lacking in the sculpting department it seems...

Wolverine is a brand new sculpt and not the same as the first DoFP one.

But I agree. While surprised at all these announcements today, I’m not entirely blown away by any of them, or any recent reveal for that matter.

Yes, you are right. I just looked up the first DoFP sculpt. I could've sworn they were the same, but they aren't.
