strange but it really does. though it's really not A1 figure as mouth on that one is shut.

fans of A2 Ripley are lucky i guess. fans of A1 - no chance yet.

actually that's a strange face expression and lack of hair for A2 powerloader scene as well.

A3 or extra headsculpt?

not A2, as that mouth is closed, too.

It's closed mouth too at SDCC..... the open mouth at ACGHK appears better...

oh it was already said.
so one of figures has 2 headsculpts (judging by two slots in that form) or it is A3.

It's on A1... most likely alternate sculpt, probably final approved sculpt, while SDCC was pre-approved

Odds are Both variant will be using the open mouth...

that looks MUCH better. yet its not from Alien nor Aliens. here goes HT testing the waters again. sending dud beta test heads to sdcc.....and getting praises.lolz

is that from......headplay?

dx release would include that beta phase DUD head though. that's just additional $$ for something that never leaves the box.

For a extra head, Ripley dosnt need a Dx, some normal Terminator figures comes with extra heads.

Yeah, the new head with the open mouth looks better, but I would love to see '79 ALIEN Ripley as a DX with an alternate ponytail option from the Nostromo escape scene. Glad to see HT included her rank insignia pin, too.

That looks different. Looks better.


Also, is it me, or does she look like she has PERS. Maybe I'm crazy, but it looks like her eyes are different from photo to photo.

Oh yeah. Now that is Alien Ripley. Sorry for all the guys who feel the other sculpt was spot on Ripley, but I surely hope HT/Weaver/licensors don't agree with you. This looks really, really good. Not remotely creepy even with the Barbie hair.

My thoughts are we are getting a DX...two faces and the eyes at sdcc and anicom are looking to different directions.
