Surprised there are no pre orders up for her now. Normally when HT puts out the preview images the pre orders at the usual haunts go up soon after right ?

It's the Ripley figure. For consistency sake there must be a delay at every stage.

I have deleted frown shadows, I have aligned eyes and I have made her face less wide. But I know... the Ripley we have, is the Ripley we have...

That's the thing. The prototype was out there for fifty-seven months. What happened was, it drifted right through the core conventions, and it's really just blind luck that they previewed it when they did. It's one in a thousand, really. I think you're damn lucky to see any specs at all, kiddo. Online pics could have been floating out there forever.

I'm surprisingly un-excited with this release...
The likeness isn't as good as I'd hoped, and on some pics the proportions of the body look off. Sigourney has a very unique frame, and this doesn't seem to capture that.
Oh well, maybe if some comapny releases a 1/6 Giger alien somewhere down the line this figure might become more interesting.

For now I'll just sit back and wait for in hand pics to show up.

I guess they forgot to mention it was specially designed not to include the actual watch face graphics.
