Yeah your not kidding, I saw something the other day about these things called coffin apartments in HK
. Space is at a premium in HK, probably a square foot of space is worth more then a square foot of gold in HK.

The OSR website has moved her to July... If that's true I think we're seeing updates...
If she is released Monday/Tuesday I might get her by next weekend.

I sure hope so, it's really the only thing that would make this long wait that keeps becoming longer worth it.

I said that few days ago. Sideshow Toys said to me that july is the month.
This is a last minute delay... even HT had Ripley in their May release photo. So it wasn't 'held back for improvement'.

I know, but we went back and forth on if it was the Hong Kong or Sideshow release. Now it looks like it's the HK release I guess...

Yep, Sideshow won't be shipping here until September then, maybe the second part of August.
Why would a delay of another month mean they're updating it? Second string figure/licence, low selling item, why wouldn't they shunt it, assuming there's something more current/more popular to focus on shipping? Apart from anything else, it'll be long since done, it's just a case of when there's a window to box & ship them without it interfering with shipping the major releases. * shrug *
Seriously, a baker's dozen of us here interested in an ancient film does not in any way equate to there being a desperate need to create & ship Alien toys. They'll slide it out the door sometime during Q3 when it suits them, and there's a slot between more popular releases. Just how it is, we'll get it in the end, and then we can all grumble about it agan when we have it in hand. This thread will still be here

I think this pretty much sums it all up in a tidy manner.
What I heard from my source is that not all of the Ripleys could be delivered due to the weather issues. Secret Base didn't want to release an incomplete stock. Tomorrow or Tuesday should be the release.
