I've seen a bunch of pics of his custom Ripley, and she looks astonishing!

The hair pulled off the face and not framing it so completely seems to improve the likeness?

If Hot Toys had gone with the rooted hair - which would have been okay
as far as I'm concerned - we would have had Ripley over a year ago.

The rooted hair looks awesome! ...but don’t believe it would look as good when mass produced.

The sculpted hair looks fine. As slikkerias mentioned, mass produced rooted hair would not look that good.

Got Ripley in yesterday... really love the figure. Great sculpt, paint and outfit; makes me happy I passed on the custom from a few years back.

Only realy nit is that Jonsey's face is pointed to the side when he's in the crate. But I guess that's so he can have a better looking pose out of the cage; still kind of odd.
