been wanting to revisit this figure because I never understood why I was never really into it as I wanted this done for so long. I think its because I just didn't really like the result. Glad I waited a few years to get better at hiring. Aside from the full repaint and re hair I made her taller and ai chromed the Chap's teeth and nails with real chrome plating.

Is that the same sculpt? Serious question. Hair aside, it looks so different from the Hot Toys.

Amazing as always, Ray! I have been trying to do this myself with a custom haired headsculpt I purchased long ago, but never managed to bring the hair to your level. Can I ask what product did you use for that? Thanks in advance and congrats for your art.

Hey guys thanks so much for the kind words! I use different products on the hair but nothing fancy a bit of gel from CVS on this but the trick is just finding the right piece of Hyde to work with your get 20 different pieces and it might not be straight/curly/ shiny/ frizzy etc enough for your project. Nothing is more excruciating then Curly hair you have to be incredibly clever about the way you layer it.

And yeah it’s the hot toys sculpt! The best part about female sculpts often more often than male sculpt, is that so long as the facial structure is somewhat accurate it’s pretty much a blank canvas. Paint will bring you the rest of the way.

Hot toys has yet to paint one female sculpt to its full potential of likeness IMO but I always knew Ripley specifically could be better

Another amazing piece of art, Raymond.

I have to admit that I was probably one of the few that had no issues with the original sculpt but now seeing it next to yours, I definitely see the weaknesses of the original sculpt now.
