Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope™
TIE Fighter Pilot™
1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Imperial pilots relied on lightning-quick reflexes and fearlessness to survive tours of duty against the Empire's enemies, as TIE fighters were lightly armored and lacked shields. Only the very best pilots earned their wings as fighter aces.

Paying homage to the heart pounding action scene where Luke Skywalker and Han Solo join hands to defend against TIE fighters, Hot Toys is thrilled to present the new 1/6th TIE Fighter Pilot collectible figure!

Skillfully crafted based on TIE Fighter Pilot as seen on Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope™, the figure features a highly detailed helmet with Imperial markings and breathing tubes connected to chest panel, a blaster rifle, a blaster pistol and a display base!

The TIE Fighter Pilot figure in sixth scale is surely a great addition to your Star Wars original trilogy display!

This will feel like buying the Sideshow Exclusive again. So not that exciting, apart from maybe two TIE Pilots looking better than one.

I admit I don't know much about these TIE pilots, but I feel like the proportions worked a bit better on the Sideshow version. And the helmet didn't seem quite so ridiculously oversized on the body...

I just looked at my Sideshow and the helmet does look more propertional than Hot Toys'.

The HT is looking very insectoid.

you look at the wrong place for comparison. Better have a look again at the waist lol

That could be masked by using Hot Toys' belt attachments. ;)

Occasionally I've thought about padding the waist, but then don't find the inclination to actually do it.

I've always thought SS Tie Pilot (ANH) is a female because of the waist ratio...

I'm 100% in for two of these but there is something a little funky about that helmet, a reminder that HT did indeed nail the Snowie helmet sculpt but missed on ANH stormie, ROTJ stormie and sandie and landed somewhere in the middle on DSG and Scout.

I’m not usually one to nitpick but this just looks funky to me. The oversized helmet and skinny arms going into those wide gloves with big hands. I don’t have my SS TFP anymore but all I did to him was add a little padding to the waist and he looked great. But like usual, maybe some different pics will make him look much better.
