Was fortunate to pick up the three main pistols from HT Caine, and upon further inspection, wanted to give some notes on them. The first picture is not mine, but need a frame of reference.
The topmost gun is the TTI Viper. The HT version is overscaled in size ( Would fit a shampoo bottle Titan Heroes figure better in scale) . If Caine's is oversized, then Wicks will be too. Working rear hammer, working slide, removable magazine. The one in the film is a 9mm. To scale, this looks like a 50 cal instead. My best guess is HT molded to try to recreate the wide lower grip area ( To fit a double stack magazine of 21 rounds in 9mm), and compensated by making the upper area larger too. I don't remember Caine ever using the Viper in the film.
The center gun is a H&K P30L. It's a remold from the HT Wick 2 set, but without the compensator. In the film, Caine used a Sig Sauer P365 with compensator. Instead of making a new mold, HT just reused an old mold ( still has working hammer, working slide and removable magazine) and added in a removable attachment to the lower pistol rail to make a pistol that sort of approximates the shape of what Caine used in the movie. The barrel is NOT ported at the end. This is because the Wick 2 pistol, the compensator was molded into the entire gun frame, not a true separate piece. Thus they just fitted a new internal barrel plug without any extra work done. Lazy. Just lazy. Don't get me wrong, nice to have a true HK P30L out there for collectors, but not screen accurate.
The bottom gun is the TTI Glock 34. It's the same mold as the Wick 2 set. Except it lacks the "gold/chrome" highlights for the earlier release. Slide pulls back and mag is removable ( stiff) The ejection port on the side, just like the original one, is not truly ported out. In the real film for Part 4, Wick uses this in the desert, so it's movie appropriate, but for Wick, not for Caine. My guess is they added it to Caine to give him some additional value.
I'm glad I had a chance to pick these up at more than reasonable prices. Like all loose HT Wick guns, the secondary market price on these will likely explode in short order and then become impossible to find once the few loose parts dealers remaining burn out their inventory.
