I totally get what you mean. Ofcourse I appreciate the new suit for what it is (something different).

My main issue is that it looks almost armored (even with shoes wtf).

The mask is chef’s kiss.

Don’t know what gimps are but I like it! Give me more gimp. Look how CLEAN this looks. How simple and minimalistic.

It looks so elegant and eery at the same time. The more I look at the figure the more I like it. Always been a big fan of Symbiote Spider-Man.

This will look absolutely stellar in hand.

I find all the indented lines on it ugly.

Given the massive amount of costumes the first game has I find it hard to believe we won't get a more classic one, which means there's a possibility that HT will make it.

I had no intention of getting this before it was revealed (I already have the Classic Suit from the first game and a Premium Format Figure Spidey on display), but the figure looks incredible and I'm sure the game is going to be awesome (the first one is one of my favorites of all time)!

It’s when spider man is infected by the venom Symbiote. Spider man > black suit> venom(steps). But there’s speculation that Peter parking is venom in the game

I always get doubles of figures I really like. Typically one is displayed and posed to death and the second sits in storage until I decide to either sell the displayed one and replace it with the new one and not pose it as wild,or two end up selling it new down the road,or three display both with different setups if the switch outs are different enough.

Yeah, the only Spidey I have now is the classic suit from the videogame, and if I got a Symbiote version it would be with the same idea in mind--closest thing we get to the two most iconic comic suits. But I don't think they will do anything more comic accurate than this, so I may pull the trigger. I'm a kid of the '80s so I'm pretty nostalgic for black Spidey.

Ye TBA is pretty much off the table for me now as they’ve decided to solely offer figures upon release with massively inflated prices.
And, if this special edition head is a sideshow exclusive, I’m out as well because shopping at sideshow adds £100 to any 1/6 figure.

This has always been a striking suit so I may even replace my Bully Maguire black suit Spidey for this iteration of the symbiote suit.

I preferred the actual black suit (comics) over symbiote suit; I get why they designed it this way but I'm not into the execution.

Had they done the texture differently and avoided the panel lines, I'd have bought one, but it was not to be. To my eyes, it looks bulky and padded rather than sleek and minimalist.

Money and space saved, but happy for those who are into it. Just not to my taste.
