A Must Buy for me. I really wish they would Make Kei as well but just as importantly I want to have Yama too. He is after all the main character of the film, even if he's not the main attraction. We must let HT know that Kei and Yama have to be made!! It would actually make perfect sense for Yama to come with the wheel if they did him!!!

nothings changed for me as well. have him preorderd on amiami since it went up. i would love kei, but that won't stop me from having the best representation of harlock imo in the market.....with or without any other characters. he can stand by himself, he needs no companion..i mean its freakin harlock! nuff said.

As with a smattering of other HT releases, this one is not meant to target a western audience. I'm sure AsianSideshowCollectors.com is buzzing with excitement.

Seriously excited to get harlock! One of my more anticipated pieces. Actually ordered the one with the throne. Hope its first to be released from that group.

Went to the Secret Base in Hong Kong recently and a rep told me that Harlock finally sold out in mid April. HT has no plans to make Kei or any other figures from this movie...Harlock is just by himself...*sigh*

The money for him got eaten by the Bat Armory...so bye bye, Captain Harlock...

I have Harlock preordered but I'm unsure if I'm going to actually get him or not. I've spent most of my saved up money on two other Hot Toys figures recently. I do have other stuff for sale on eBay to earn more money for the various preorders I have this year. I was really excited for Harlock when it was announced, but I have since become less excited for it. I think it looks like a really nice figure although for some reason seems less fun to pose than some others out there.

Just canceled my Nathan Drake SS Figure so I could pre-order this! I can't wait for it. I echo a lot of people here where I say I want to see more Hot Toys Anime figures! Bring on Vampire Hunter D!!!!!

Finally had a chance to see the movie, animation & design was fantastic. Story was ok, I guess.

The only figure I'd want would be a Pirate in their hard suits with those battle axes. That would be a pretty cool figure.

But that's just because I'm trying to focus the collection back to aliens, robots & armoured 1/6.

I agree. Visually the movie was stunning, storywise it was rather weak. Though i still enjoyed it.

I don't think the bat armory has anything to do with it... it was a decent movie that American audiences don't care about haha.
I guess it's not selling well in asian either.

To be honest they did stray a bit far from the original design.
It looks great, but it's also a niche thing.

SS is showing this as shipping in July so I predict we will see HK/blogger photos this week or next.

Also, SS inventory shows less than 50 single figures and less than 30 figure+throne sets remaining.

Not sure if its the camera, or the glass but the head sculpt doesn't look so great there. The outfit looks good...
