everything in the cartoon is hyper stylised, but that hyper stylised weapon was adapted from the unused realistic prop and that realistic prop became the default official realistic depiction Clone Wars rifle in all toys/media, distinct from the actual movie weapons.
So the basis of your argument is unused concept art of something that was never actually seen or used. Got it

he won't, he didn't back up anything over on Reddit either. he just says " I'm 501st, I know you are wrong" then blocks you before he then gets downvoted into oblivion by everyone
I have. But you have chosen not to accept it

ok, now I am sure you are trolling! :ROFLMAO:

edit: I love that you used inaccurate fan made props while completely straw-manning my argument. Hilarious!
“Inaccurate fanmade props” that are* approved by lucasfilm to represent their characters.

Please keep it up.

concept model wasn't unused... it is the official realistic look for clone wars weapon as used by all the toy companies including HT on their clone wars figures and was adapted to animated style for cartoons. HT just couldnt be bothered to make movie versions for their movie figures

also, you wrote: “Inaccurate fanmade props that approved by lucasfilm to represent their characters."

I used the actual LFL props/screenshots.

I don’t know what to tell you anymore. The weapons the hot toys clones have is clearly not the same ones used in the animated show. I don’t understand why you keep insisting they are “animated” props. It’s clear to me you have no idea what you are talking about. You think you have a “GOTCHA” with me but I’m just shaking my head at how dumb all your comments are.

You’re wrong. You can keep trying to gaslight but it ain’t gonna work. This is why I blocked you on Reddit because you became annoying.

This back and forth is kind of getting out of hand. I'm not personally bothered by the blaster and I'm not taking sides, but it feels like there's a misunderstanding and you guys are arguing along two slightly different avenues.

I believe @jaztermareal is saying there are three types of rifles:

1. Film Realistic
2. Animated Stylized
3. Animated Realistic

It seems like you are saying the 1 and 2 don't look the same which of course they don't, no one is debating that.

The point is that the Hot Toys blaster is neither 1 or 2. It's not fully accurate to the film version, nor is it the heavily stylized animated version.

It does seem to most closely resemble a realistic version of the animated rifle.

If you don't agree with that then that's fine. I would just agree to disagree between the two of you because it's clear it's gotten a bit more personal than it has to.

This whole concept that the blaster are “realistic versions of the animated blasters” is utterly ridiculous to begin with.

It’s either animated, or realistic.

It's a real shame they didn't fix the mouth on the Phase 1. It's made more annoying by the fact that the Clone Pilot sculpt has it correct too (or at least, more correct).

Thanks for weighing in with a neutral response. I did actually make such a breakdown back on Reddit clearly defining the 3 versions and my argument and then his argument.glad you did it here as I really didn't want to make such a post again

The Hot Toys version is not accurate to the realistic film version. I think we can agree on that visually.

Is this blaster that Deviss is holding an “animated realistic” blaster?

It strongly resembles the ones that Hot Toys, Sideshow, Gentle Giant etc use with their figures.

I tried to have a discussion with you on Reddit about this. I have provided evidence to support my side that you have elected to ignore. And now you have this cocky attitude “hahaha you got downvoted hurrr durr” as if that makes you right when you’re wrong.

At the end of the day you are wrong. Doesn’t matter how many people agree with you because those people are wrong too. Simple as that.

Have a good night :)
