This is HTs best Keanu sculpt to date imo. I’m excited for this one.

Maybe it’s just me, but the tailoring appears to be a bit sharper on the final product for once when compared to the prototype. Proto looked a bit frumpy to me.

Pretty sure it was one of those thrown together protos HT did in a hurry. The hair and beard color was different too. Like a light brown color. I am glad though that they did improve upon their proto for once in a while.

Pretty disappointed in the sculpt, why can they never get Keanu right? He has such distinctive features, add him to the list with Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford I guess. I got a waitlist conversion for the EX a few weeks ago that I was very excited about, but now I am going to need to see a few more reviews before making a decision to keep or cancel. Weirdly, this kinda makes me want to buy the Baylen Skoll figure instead, the sculpt on that figure is incredible.

I'm not sure what people are looking at that they can't see Keanu here.

Is it perfect? No.
Are the features a little soft? Yes.
Might part of that be because of the always terrible blogger pictures? Yes.

Is this a better sculpt than the John Wick 2 figure from several years ago? Resounding yes.

I'm upgrading off my old one, and although I don't love the open mouth, I highly doubt Hot Toys does another Wick figures unless it's Artisan, which I don't feel like fighting for. I'm getting this one and I'll be very happy with it.

The sculpt is decent. The main issue with HT is how they do brows in general. They give most figures a generic scowl with clean even brows.

My first John Wick and definitely better than his predecessors! Keanu is a tough likeness, even versions of him as Neo are not exact, but this looks amazing-cannot wait.

The sculpt is as good as HT is gonna get. I see Keanu when I look at it, much more than their previous attempts.

I wish it was a neckless sculpt so I could use it for Johnny Silverhand.

I’m for sure excited about this figure, it looks real good. Always wanted a JW figure but never bit the bullet on the aftermarket price of Chapter 2, glad I waited!
