Yeah, blogger photos were bad. So much that I wanted to cancel.

Hard to believe those are HT figures. They look like 3rd party figures compared to this one.

I don't think the sculpt is bad by any stretch, but for some reason it looks more like Keanu to me with the hair removed? But I think it looks like a much younger Keanu than he was in John Wick 4.

That would make a good JW1 or 2 head sculpt.

That's a bang on sculpt.

It also helps that the lighting highlights the teeth, it gives us a full look at the portrait they were trying to develop. So many of the shots from bloggers are lit top down, and that obscures it.

Its strange too. The farther you are from the sculpt, the less appealing. IMO. But when up close it looks fantastic.

I have my preorder and will still get it. I don’t think it looks any worse than the prototype but even that didn’t look great face wise. It is better than the chapter 2 version. Nobody does Keanu very well. The mouth choice is weird and the hair just doesn’t do it for me. I would rather have slicked back hair but obviously that wouldn’t fit chapter 4.

To be honest these sculpts available from a custom painter for about £120 are better then hot toys efforts imo.

Correct, yeah. If it's lit in a way where the teeth are totally lost in shadow, it's going to look bad. I didn't even realize he had top teeth based on the blogger photos.
