1/6 Hot Toys Rogue One: K-2SO

Now that they’ve said that K-2SO won’t be in the first season of Andor his price has jumped even more.
I wish I didn’t miss the boat on all the RO figures.
At the time the movie was just not on my radar.
Now I can’t stop watching it.
I got the regular edition of Jyn for Christmas as a gift from my twin brother.
Then he got me a Director Krennic figure.
K2 would be my grail from this line.

This is a misinformation campaign. I doubt they will choose to omit a crucial character from Rogue one like K-2SO. That would be like having a Han Solo movie and NOT including how he met Chewbacca. Obviously i know there's a lot more history with a character like Han but you get the point.

As this show is one of my least interests in the upcoming lineup, they would need to incorporate K-2SO if they hope to keep people/me interested. While Cassian was a good character in Rogue One, i don't think he carries enough weight to carry the show past a first season.

K-2SO would be silly not to include in Season 1 by at least half way through.

We have no idea what characters are going to play a big roll in the 1st season. Might be someone more entertaining than K2

My guess he finds and re-programs K2 at the end of season 1, even a quick 15 second scene and HT will reissue him. He?s one of my all time favorite figures. Just so unique

I let mine go and i rarely ever sell anything. I picked him up well below retail brand new and got offered crazy money for it. Love Rogue one but i couldn't say no.

From what I've read K2SO is supposed to be a season 2 arrival, which would make sense if this is an origin story.

I'm sure Cassian and K2S0 figures are in the works. I only hope that even a basic version of Jyn is rereleased. Like Subzro with K2, I sold her off but hope I can get her back at some time.

Even if he doesn't appear on the show, HT could still decide to reissue him anyway just based on the surrounding RO hype.

In fact that's probably more likely than getting an actual Cassian figure from them. Lol

The very reason the existence of the show is pretty questionable. Cassian wasn't nearly interesting enough of a character to warrant his own show. K2 was awesome in RO though. Where were all the people wanting a HT figure of him back then? I'm pretty sure he even sold under retail for awhile before he sold out.

Yeah i got mine for $170 shipped brand new a couple months after he was released. Never know what they have up their sleeve. I watched really was not excited about Mando but changed my mind at the end of the 1st episode for obvious reasons lol.

LMAO K-2SO is a reprogrammed Imperial security droid, it could easily appears in the Cassian series as the normal droids in military bases or whatsoever during Cassian's stealth ops, just like those Shore troopers in Mando.

I agree. There will be nothing stopping HT reissuing it as an imperial droid. It just needs 1 second of screen time.

They did a bunch of stuff under the battlefront license though so wouldn't be their first time.

I just think they didn't want to bother with Cal Kestis and figured people would bug about him if all we got was another k2

Like ArtDamage said, they were able to make figures from Battlefront. There are Black Series figures from Jedi Fallen Order too.

It could be a diversion and K2 could definitely be in the show and they are trying to avoid spoilers. Or, Like someone said, those droids might be featured if not specifically called K2. I just want cassian in his rogue one outfit.
