I don't think he ever looked this evil in NWH, I always remember him more wide eyed.

But I agree HT seems to have an issue with not really matching their eyebrows to the expression they're going with, I still think it's a great sculpt.
This is why they need to stick with neutral expressions or at least try to match the eye/eyebrows for these extreme ones. Same goes for when they include an angry mouth sculpt with their Captain America or Batman figure.

It just doesn't work because the mouth's expression is completely different from the calm and neutral eye/eyebrows. It's like they combined two different expressions into one. Here's a very quick photoshop with the eyebrows being a bit more aggressive. Instant change in expression that comes off of the sculpt.

First one looks like he wants to hug me. Second one looks like he wants to kill me.

This figure doesn't look wide-eyed either. Eyebrows and eye shapes are completely neutral, maybe mildly jovial. :lol Still a solid likeness, though.

Do we know if they'll release a package with just the figure, no glider?

That does look better, same thing happened with their Classic Loki, eyebrows just don't match the expression but it's still a good sculpt, if it comes out close to the proto it's still a winner in my book.

This Release is definately the superior of the two goblin releases considering in the movie he wore this outfit when at his evil best…
still think the sculpt needs tweaks to make his smile maniacal….
that twisted look with the furrowed eye brows would make this an instant buy!

This should be showed on HT facebook awesome edit!

The face isn't bad but honestly could be a lot better given just how expressive Dafoe was in this movie.
Hell there really ought to be more than one head sculpt to be honest.
