Just look a few months into the future and I'm guessing it will be. HT has to have some sales metrics driving them toward prequels and clones. I include Clone Wars in the prequel category since they occur in between episodes 2 and 3...

Looks so good! Interesting that they mention only the left eye being moveable but the pics indicate that both eyes are since the blind eye has the faded iris on it and isn’t just a plain white eye.

If I had a minor complaint, it would be that I wish he had a bit more of a scowl/frown similar to the Sideshow sculpt. Feel like that had so much personality

He is a bit happy and friendly but I will still take him.

Almost perfect but the head sculpt is crazy good.

Wolffe, Comet and Sinker. HT getting my money again around the holidays like with the AoTC figures from last year.

I actually hate how the visor looks on his helmet. HT just can’t do it right.

In addition to everything wrong with Wolffe’s helmet, I love how Hot Toys gave the other two the black helmet bands but not Wolffe. What gives?

And of course, I’m tired of seeing those little animated style kamas and those botched Phase 1 thick af mouth lines.

Yeah I noticed that too. Comet and the grunt get the proper realistic treatment apparently. But not the phase 1? Huh?

Granted I could theoretically paint the black band myself and solve that issue at least.

Guess I’m going to have to see if customizers are going to make a proper Wolffe helmet.



At least Fox won’t be lonely anymore. Might have to get two Wolffe’s for that reason.

A custom Wolffe helmet with a custom kama would be ace.

I’m definitely skipping these guys. I like them in the show but not enough to want them in 1/6, especially since they’re botched lol

I think Wolffe looks STELLAR. Yes, there's a few inaccuracies, but nothing I'm going to look at the figure on my shelf and be annoyed about. It's freaking Wolffe. His Clone brothers will stand with him soon. I'm really excited, hope that Hardcase goes up before the end of the year and I'll really be content on Clones.

They're clearly not changing the mould they made for the helmets at this point. If they were going to do it, they would have done it by now. Not changing it just keeps everything consistent in their eyes, but I'm sure it's just a cost savings thing that they'll obviously never admit.

It's most definitely for cost savings, I mean 90% of the clone troopers they make are just mold reuses even if it's inaccurate. These clones are honestly Hot Toys' laziest figures next to the Iron Man recolors. And with collectors still coming in droves to buy these they have no incentive to change.

IMO the AOTC shinies are perfect if you want to display them with the Phase 2 helm. It's probably one of the most accurate clones they've released next to the Coruscant guard if I'm not mistaken. Especially since they made the armor matte which is more accurate to ROTS than AOTC.

But yeah Phase 1 is my personal favorite as well which is why this is such a gripe for me lol.
