I would love to know how in the hell she is holding those tools lol.
Wow good catch. Yeah, what the hell is going on there? This figure won’t do much good if she can’t actually hold her tools.
There are better holding hands, photographer probably just used more casual hands in that one shot to mix it up, or make it look more relaxed in that one ^ pic. which doesn't read right anyway since she's hammering.

You are making up a story, absolutely. You said it's just a Lego thing knowing full well that Lego disclosed on the record that it is in fact a Disney thing.
I didn’t hear the part about LEGO until just now. I didn’t read the bickering back and forth in this thread. So maybe I’m ignorant, but I’m not making up a story about Slave I being on the Star Wars website. You come off really confrontational and know it all at times. Get over yourself.

Isn't this all much ado about nothing? I mean, the ONLY place I've ever heard that ship referred to by name is this forum. Has any Star Wars ship other than the Millennium Falcon been referred to by it's name in the movies or TV? Rogue One is the only one that comes to mind.

I'm not the one foolishly arguing without the facts :wink1:

True, although they appear to be showcasing something that won’t actually be possible without artificial support, right?

I didn’t really start the argument. I only commented on how the thread derailed. You’re the one who called me out as making up a story when what I said was true. I just didn’t know your part of the story from LEGO’s side. Frankly I’ve found this whole thing pretty silly.

No, only part of what you said was true.

While Slave 1 was previously named in a Lego set, Lego has done this before. Luke Skywalker's X-Wing, Poe Dameron's X-Wing, Kylo Ren's Shuttle, new Bad Batch ship.

Heresy is a bit of an exaggeration and the events of Season 2 don't set up for a confrontation like that. The Armorer is the one who tasked Din Djarin by creed to protect the foundling and reunite him with his people in the first place. She would be glad that he accomplished his quest.

He broke one of the codes of the Way of the Mandalore that their tribe follows by removing his helmet, but breaking that code just means that you're not allowed to wear a helmet again. A possible way of further allowing Pedro Pascal to go helmetless, aside from by choice through character development.

[...] The problem here is, he's not going to take it off and leave it off, thereby becoming just a regular guy. That would be allowed. He took it off AND THEN PUT IT BACK ON. By his tribe's rules, he is -not- allowed to do that. That's where the heresy comes in.

The Armorer does not strike me as someone who seeks power like that. She's shown to be wise, diplomatic, and pragmatic. I think her role as a protector of her tribe, and of knowledge, history, and the Beskar is more important to her.

She's a protector of her tribe, as she sees it and I see plenty of potential for conflict between the scattered members of her people and those currently living on Mandalore and fighting to control it. I dont think most of her covert is dead. I think they scattered to the four winds, and will reassemble later. This is an actual Mandalorian technique of long standing.

Season 2 is over and Mando's ship is destroyed, and Grogu is gone. He has nothing but what he stands up in and that beskar spear. What is his next logical move? Its almost certainly to go with Bo & co. back to Mandalore, he now has serious business there and.... he has nowhere else to go. As holder of the Darksaber he won't be hard to find, he will be the epicenter of a maelstrom of infighting. But he has disrespected the Way of the covert.

Armorer will be coming for him, you can bet on it.

I mean he did practically agree to join Bo Katan in the season finale. Something along the lines of “I’d have you reconsider joining our cause” “fair enough” I believe was his response. That could mean he’ll think about it, or “fair enough, if we pull this off I’m in.”

Appreciate the enthusiasm and glad to be talking about something relevant than other things. :lol

For me personally, I think that’s a bit too much power fantasy and forced conflict placed onto two characters who both don’t really have established motivations (as of yet) to clash with each other. But that’s just my opinion. Your opinions are your own and valid for you.

Again, it is my observation that she does not seem to actively seek out conflict. Only to defend herself. She skillfully resolved the tension between Din Djarin and Paz Vizsla diplomatically. She told Din Djarin that Grogu is not an enemy despite his kind, the Jedi, being the ancient enemy of Mandalore.

Being wise and level enough to make that sort of distinction means she is not a rabid fanatic. I certainly do not see her as some kind of justiciar looking to punish or execute people without extremely good cause.

Her main concern always seems to be the foundlings, and the well being of the foundlings is important to Din Djarin as well. So long as those goals align, I don’t see conflict.

She would probably be more upset if he had hypothetically abandoned his quest, word, and creed to help Grogu than for taking his helmet off, regardless of what consequences of that there may or may not be.

Future seasons will hold higher stakes, intrigue, politics, sure. But I’m not convinced Din Djarin and The Armorer are going to have an armed conflict specifically. That is not how I read their characters.

I’m certainly not ruling out he could end up in power in some capacity, even if he doesn’t want it. That’s a potential path they could take his story. And there’s always the possibility of some sort of conflict between them, though there would have to be more development towards that.

If anything, I would imagine he would want his old tribe to join him on Mandalore through diplomacy than fighting. And if a new Mandalore is seated, many will follow them willingly.

We will agree to disagree and look forward to the next season to see what happens. :duff

I wonder if there is a logical explanation why that abomination of a Spiderman figure is the only exclusive up on Sideshow?
Sure. SSC thinks we are unaware of The Armorer and have no access to forums or YouTube. The few who are aware also only have access to their website and can't visit other retailers, and they think it's not up for PO anywhere. So, in short, they want to shock the market with a surprise.
