He was only in two episodes before Maul killed him. We never saw him in the 501st. He was just someone who got promoted when they split the division to make the 332nd.

I definitely would have been interested if he came with a 501st helmet. Oh well. Just going to keep hoping for Fives, Echo and Kix to round out that squad.

The fact that he has a 332nd helmet is kind of a detractor for me not gonna lie. I know it’s what he wore but I would prefer a 501st helmet.

I don’t intend to display any other Troopers as 332nd. Although I guess maybe Vaugh would be a good representation of that battalion.

Either way though I’ll only get him if there’s a price drop eventually. Jesse was worth the premium. This guy.. eh.

Same thing on the heavy trooper.

They should have just made the corrected helmet and used it on both of these.

Its because they're using the Cody mold for both of them. The standard 501st helmet is not designed for the visor.

Yup, but it's an easy fix for them to fill the mouth grooves and remold it. They probably just didn't think it was worth making another mold. It is what it is.

It'd be fairly easy to modify if you were so inclined, but it'd be nice to not have to.

Hey I am a clone noob but from the pictures - what is the difference between Captain Vaughn and the 501st dx? From what I can see, its the orange helmet is painted differently

They are fairly different, aside from some shared parts between Clones.

Vaughn is more of a Commander Cody repaint, as was the case in the show. The 501st Clone is more of a basic trooper.

Along with the included accessories, the main differences would be the style of helmet, the rank badge on the chest armor, the shoulder bells, and the jet pack type.

Hey I just realized, if you want Vaughn to have a 501st color scheme, you can swap helmets with the BARC speeder Heavy Weapons Trooper. He'll just be missing the antenna

I do have Sideshow ARC Echo and Fives for that, but I’d be happy if Hot Toys made Phase 2 ARC Fives since Sideshow didn’t make one. It’ll save me some trouble.

Would love to see a pic of those SS Arc's.

I’d really just take Fives and be happy. A 501st Echo would be nice but since I have the version from The Bad Batch I’m okay if that’s the only representation we get.

Honestly think Fives and Echo are inevitable, HT see's the numbers those guys pull in on the secondary market and how big of sellers they were for Sideshow.

Not sure when we'll get them, but we will.

I love my SS versions, but you can barely pose them or do anything with them besides museum pose.
