Thanks for posting those. I have 2 Sphero R2-D2's....they are amazing aren't they? The Hasbro one stand up so well. The Hot Toys one is obviously better in pretty much any way but it's cool that there is a budget option to go with too.

Just a little size comparison for those on the fence. The middle Chopper is the Hasbro one

The HASBRO looks surprisingly good - am sure the HT is very nice, but good to have a budget option, especially if you are handy with paint and can do some touching up.

The Hasbro one is super cool. It is animatronic and reacts to touch and sound/voice commands.

Worth it for the price I think, and great for kids into rebels too

Chopper irritably waving his arms and swearing is how I feel about life in general.
My new Chopper came from Target, will need to set him up.

Honest question, is this really worth it compared to that Chatter Back version? Scale-wise, they look pretty dang close.

Chopper's fun, a lot more fun than BT-1!

It wasn't fun trying to get him to hold the hologram the way it's shown in the promo photos and instructions, with his pincers vertical. I managed to get it to stay just once, but it was very precarious.

So I resorted to turning the pincers horizontal so that the projector disc could sit on and between the grips:

It's still fairly precarious so I won't leave him like that on display.
