This looks pretty amazing to me. Wild that it's only $20 more than Chopper.
Right,WTF? From top to bottom, this is one of the most realistic figures I've ever seen. Goes to show you how fickle the world of collecting really is.Maybe it’s because it’s 1:38am and my eyes are tired but the likeness looks quite good to me lol…
Interesting. Seems low.
I think she looks fabulous. But I totally agree with you. The sculpt is spot on, but they could also work on the eye make-up and eyebrows. Also, I'm not seeing the white pattern on her lekku. I hope that gets added in.Upon looking at it again, I think it's mainly the lack of eye make up throwing it off for me.
There's barely any present on the Hot Toys sculpt making her eye area look more "bare", when she had a black eye wing make up done for the show. Her eyebrows are also missing that darker black make up look.
Yeah it's a great sculpt. It's just missing the make up that she had on for the character. She has that bare face look at the moment with it lacking on her eyes and eyebrow. It's minor but makes a difference. Wonder if the sculptor who did this is the same as Sabine.I think she looks fabulous. But I totally agree with you. I agree. I did not care for the actress playing her, but this shrunk down version looks pretty coolI think she looks better as a figure than she did on the actual show. Those contacts! Much more realistic looking here.
Thanks for catching that. I guess the pattern is super light and is hard to see from a distance.
It's very hard to see even i nthe show. I do wish it stood out more because it helps stop her looking like a big green blob. Thanks for catching that. I guess the pattern is super light and is hard to see from a distance.
FYI Viva Lai did this sculpt and Hwan Kim did SabineReally hope whoever did the sculpts for Hera and Sabine does the sculpt for Shin as well.
Let’s hope HT keeps using them! Two of their best sculpts ever. Really enjoying this newfound desire to improve, likely brought on by InArt’s competition. HT was getting stagnant so they needed a rival to ignite that fire of passion again.FYI Viva Lai did this sculpt and Hwan Kim did Sabine
