My last shipment of figures for 2024 contain three figures. Bane, Revan & Skoll. Had a quick look at Bane (fantastic), haven't even cracked the box on Revan yet. Skoll has had my rapt attention since emerging from the box....

My Gawd...what a portrait! Just astonishing. The details on the paint apps & those rolling eyes. Just fantastic! Actually, the whole presentation is just great.
It caused a bit of a chuckle on the order page when Hot Toys emphasized the "detailed costume with meticulous fabric selection" but damned if they weren't right. The costume is well-crafted and visually interesting and the fabric choices are indeed unique in adding texture and great drape. This figure is going to get a lot of attention in the new year with the camera and on the shelf.

While the show fell short with the exceptions of the scenes Stevenson was featured in, I'm glad to have this fitting tribute to the late performer in the collection. Well done, Hot Toys in rendering the excellent work of the late costume designer Shawna Trpcic in sixth-scale.

Great figure!

Really enjoying this one a lot!

This figure just rocks. Takes a lot of futzing (especially the cape-see other shots), but it's that good, enjoyable futzing that yields cool results when posing and snapping shots and just plain staring at it. My only niggle is this odd connector piece HT uses for attaching the head. Not fun to deal with and seems really overdesigned for it's function. Lining it up before reinserting it into the head often knocks the eyes around. Not cool, should be easier.

The costume created by the late Shawna Trpcic, is such an interesting combination of familiar "knight" elements combined with a traditional "jedi" look that creates a striking appearance and HT has really captured the proportions and fit really well. So easy to get a strong display look with this figure.

Still sad for Ray's passing. What a missed opportunity at exploring this character he so effectively inhabited in his scenes. It was like a different, engaging show whenever he was onscreen. He was Skoll. No bit of recasting is going to capture the same charisma that Ray evoked in this character.

So glad to have this great figure to enjoy & imagine new stories with...
