The hair is awful
Hence everyone should wait and see some pics done by someone who takes the time to get the hair right.I agree with everyone in here, the likeness is there, but the hair is awful!
This coming from the same company that made Gamora, a figure with the perfect rooted hair for a mass product.. it's very disappointing.
Maybe they think because you can always put the helmet on it, the ugly hair will be covered anyway.
But that is no excuse, the rooted hair in here is bad.
Do I want a sculpted hair instead? no. I still prefer rooted hair, but done right!
True.Hence everyone should wait and see some pics done by someone who takes the time to get the hair right.
What, take a calm, rational approach to a new release rather than hysterically jump to conclusions based on the first photos of questionable quality? Surely you jest!Hence everyone should wait and see some pics done by someone who takes the time to get the hair right.
Yes, so far the effort (or lack thereof) that HT put into styling the hair looks rather disappointing, but there are always going to be a few wild hairs on a rooted head that need to be tamed with a bit of water. Not something to get up in arms about IMO. And leaving that helmet on for any length of time will probably push down the hair on top as well - so I'm sure there will be complaints down the road about that as well lol.True.
Although I was hoping to get something like Gamora, which hair is already perfect out of the box without any proper futzing..
But yes.. I can't wait to see more pics of this piece!
The head is wider than the prototype, probably I will cancel my preorder.Everything is awful, no likeness with Gal Gadot.
This looks incredible. Hair just needs a little water to tame the wild strands.Better than bloggers Photos.

And the paint is very soft compared to the prototypeSculpt is definitely still there. Hair just needs to be styled. Anyone who thought that out of the box, the hair would be perfect was just kidding themselves.
The doll hair killed itThis looks incredible. Hair just needs a little water to tame the wild strands.
Strongly disagree, love the rooted hair on this one. Plastic sculpted hair would have ruined the realism, the ability to slip on the helmet, and neck articulation. The doll hair killed it
Rooted hair is the best option for this figure, but what I meant to say is the hair is poorly done. Per example Gamora was perfectly done straight out of the box.Strongly disagree, love the rooted hair on this one. I mean this looks so real. Login • Instagram

I highly doubt the shape or width of the head changed - that’s most certainly just comes down to what lenses were used by the photographers.Rooted hair is the best option for this figure, but what I meant to say is the hair is poorly done. Per example Gamora was perfectly done straight out of the box.
Hot Toys didn’t care much about the hair they just assumed that everyone will display it with the helmet.
And bloggers made things worse when th these horrible horrible photos.
I am trying to figure out why there’s a huge difference between the prototype and the production photos, maybe it’s the paint or maybe the head is wider in the production I really don’t know
Better ?
