Thats the exact height of young HP.

Bingo! Gimli next for InArt LOTR line...!
Body proportions and bulk difference between an 11 year old Daniel Radcliffe and a scaled down 50-something John Rhys Davies pretty much takes the Harry Poter body out of contention. At the very least, they’d need an entirely different torso and to then pad the limbs up.

It’d be like trying to use a Barbie body for a Tom Hardy figure just because they both equate to someone who’s 5’9”.

Have you no vision, man?

A body that size engineers the elbows, knees, waist, hips, torso, hand connections, etc. It's not going to be a match for a Dwarf until they implement the "fat-suit" to give Gimli his girth... but the frame is there.

I think only the limbs and possibly the midsection would be of any use.
The Potter torso- width of the shoulders and hips of an 11 year old boy- would not be suitable for a meaty, burly dwarf like Gimli.
The wrist/forearms would also be relatively too slight for Gimli-but he has big gloves so it could work.
You can pad the arms and legs but the crotch piece would need to be wider and space the legs further apart. A fat suit can only do so much.
You could then use the potter mid-section with padding but would definitely need a wider chest piece so Gimli has the correct adult frame and distance between shoulders.

I remember the first third party Netflix Wilson Fisk that just made a regular figure body extra tall with ankle extenders and padded up his belly. The slim shoulders and short arms relative to the rest of his proportions really stood out.

Well, I know InArt suggested that they'd be making unique bodies for their figures but I don't think, based on Joker, that they will be complete one-offs for every figure they make.

I would guess they will use whatever compatible parts and mix and match best they can. If the "Potter" body works for the most part, they'll use it -- save for the pelvis (or whatever) which I'm sure they'll address as part of the development. But I see the development of the "Potter" body as a good lead-in to a Gimli body.

Certainly, if they make Gimli, we will see...

Hobbits need to be max 20cm meaning 8 inches.

Gimli would imo sell better than Merry, Pippin.
In one of the polls on Inarts FB page Gimli was ahead of Boromir, only Sauron and Frodo&Sam&Gollum trio got more votes. (If they release Frodo and Sam together for sure many will buy it, independently its hard to see how a Frodo/Sam/Gollum looks better than a Dwarf in battlegear.) ofc I am biased towards dwarfs. The 12% and 10% is 3 votes difference.

Sauron I can see being #1 most requested, but surprised to see Galadriel and white Gandalf so low on the list.
Wouldn't mind seeing an Elven warrior or Gondor elite soldier (aka Inart's future stormtroopers )

As a newer fan of LotR, I had to put orders in for Gandalf and Aragorn. They look absolutely fantastic and will make the rest of my collection feel self-conscious lol.

I already know I'm in for Legolas, but my main wishlist includes:

Saruman: I desperately want another Christopher Lee, and he would pair so well with Gandalf.
Frodo: He would obviously be needed since he is the ringbearer.
Gemli: He rounds out the 3 hunters well.
Smeagol: to chase after the precious.
Sauron: he would huge and cool to display as a centerpiece behind everyone.

Anyone else would just be a bonus for me.

If InArt can do a monkey samurai, they can do a blood thirsty Uruk Captain.

Everything about Lurtz cries out for a high end figure; his hair, the mixed media armour with straps and buckles, a unique, textured and seamless body… he’s probably one of the most visually stimulating of all the LOTR villains. There’s just so much to appreciate.

What’s not to love?!

I'd definitely be down for Lurtz. Boromir is easily my top want from InArt from this line - there's really never been a "great" Boromir done in sixth scale form and I think it would be great if someone could finally lock it down and end the crusade. It'd be even better if they doubled down and used the sculpt for Ned Stark afterwards since they're making GOT figures anyway.

There's a Crown Saruman coming from Asmus - after Gandalf the White I am absolutely looking forward do that. With Gandalf the Grey and Aragorn already off the board, Legolas coming, and the Asmus Gimli absolutely passable for the line, it would be awesome if they could swing Boromir, Lurtz and Galadriel from Fellowship. I wouldn't even have to think about picking up all three.

I'd like to see what they can do with the hobbits as well, but for right now, those three would be excellent additions.

Boromir and Lurtz would definitely be instant buys for me and I hope they make them, HOWEVER, what I would really like to see is a Théoden - specifically a deluxe 2-pack with both an old and young version. That way, you could pair the Asmus Gandalf the White with the possessed Théoden to recreate the exorcism scene and also have the younger version for any later ROTK scenes you wanted to set up. I can only imagine how well InArt could do the old kingof Rohan! While Aragorn needed a much better figure, I agree with others that the Asmus Gimli (and Gandalf the White) already received excellent treatment by Asmus and knowing that InArt won't make every figure from the LOTR films, I hope they consider making figures that have yet to be made well instead of simply proving they could do a better job on figures that have already been produced. And please, FTLOG, not another Legolas or Arwen until some of the other characters have been done justice.

Theoden, Eomer and Faramir would be at the top of my list, but InArt only has the license for Fellowship right now I believe, so sadly we’ll have to wait for those characters from the later films.
