As excited as I am to see their Gandalf, Legolas and Ringwraith, it's Strider that is in the most dire need of a new version so I really hope he's coming sooner than later!

Yea, and prices. Imagine you dump and sell all your figures only to find out the new figures price is 700 each.

Here is their new 1/6th Joker. I'm not that clued up on Ledger's costume but it certainly looks incredible so far!

I am probably out with these. HT is already at $300 for a regular figure. I am drawing the line at $400 bucks for figures. I got out of statues awhile ago for a reason. At least I am pretty picky at this point which helps and have a plan forward of what figures I might want in the future. But I am already out on what QS have teased except for The Batman. All speculation at this point until we see preorders.

Imagine when you see the price of the QS version of a figure you already own from HT, but need to own again in the new UltraMegaGigaExtra High End Format.

I hope it never comes to that. If they were doing Marvel I might be worried. I will have my eye on The Batman though. Honestly, SW I could do without as pathetic as the state of the universe is now. This Spring/Summer should be interesting for the 1/6th community. I have to pass on LOTR or this will really get out of control.

Marvel's where my main wants are too. I'd feel pretty bad to have Battinson and his villains in QS format, and have my Doom and FF and X-Men displays "just" in HT quality, so we'll see. I'd go all-out with some Green Lantern stuff though.

With SW, I can feel you. The universe keeps going with half-butchered EU stories and 'membaries. I still want my basics, but I'm feeling less excited to own them. I might just stick with the bare essentials when all is said and done. It's all getting too pricey. ATM the one figure I'm really looking forward to is the QS Paul Atreides. That's the kind of stuff I even got into the hobby for. Most of the rest is completionism taking over me.

Unless they are using it as a stand in that is not GTWs staff.

I believe that image with GtW your refer to was from a collector not from Queen Studios

That's what I thought and that's why I was asking the guy to show the pic expecting to see a different one. But still no response. GtG is the better choice imo anyway. More iconic.

Joker I figured would be first as Ledger's take on the character is so well regarded. Legolas I would assume is next with his position in the pic.

Lot of Asmus LOTR figures suddenly materializing in the For Sale threads here…
Wonder why that might be…?

To be honest, I'm in no hurry to replace all of my Asmus LOTR figures with $400+ dollar figures, no matter how good the InArt figures are.

But I'm glad I didn't buy the new Legolas just in case. I'm also glad I didn't get the Crown Gandalf now.

What I want is a good Frodo. I've given up on Asmus to provide the replacement head. Though I doubt Queen will make a Frodo.
