The HT version still looks pretty damn good, I have my preorder for the Deluxe, and will keep it. I will definitely preorder QS one when it goes up but we'll see when that happens.

Hey don’t get me wrong, I might still get it to have a side by side comparison with QS’ version (that’s if QS crushes it of course).

I won’t deny that it looks good. But it feels false Y’know? It rings hollow. Why did it have to take another player to enter the ring for them to “truly” show their potential? Think about it, would their Battinson be as complete as it is now had QS not secured the rights? NO.

If QS didn’t show up to take their lunch money, we most definitely would’ve gotten a standard Batman with no Bruce portrait, no ERS, no tiered release and it would’ve been priced OVER $300...and that’s without the SSC taxes.

So by me not POing the HT version is to send a message (as insignificant as it may be). Also, it’s based on principal. I don’t know if you follow my channel, but I haven’t covered many HT figures in a long time save for the 1/4 mandalorian. I’ve just become too fed up with their BS.

I will admit I’m being a little petty. For HT, currently it’s a damned if you did, damned if you don’t. They finally stepped up. But how long did it take? And what had to take place for it to happen?

They want me back to collecting their stuff on the regular? Well it depends if they can stay consistent FROM HERE ON OUT. No more drip feeding us. No more half @$$ed releases. No more “wait for the 2.0” formula. And most importantly: NO MORE IP SQUATTING. if you’re not gonna do $#!t with the IP, then let someone else do it.

I believe May is their planned month to announce a few things. I'll see if I can find the source for that, but I believe John from QS mentioned it in that video interview.

Oh I thought they said by May all the silhouettes would be revealed. So I was looking forward to seeing a lot of reveals over the next 2 months.

Hmm, I'm not sure. John just mentions in this interview at 22:55 that May will be a big push with releases/reveals and then they hope to keep a steady stream of announcements after that.



I believe he also mentions the Wonder Fest that RRX mentioned above, but I don't feel like scrubbing the whole video to find it.

I think your reading to much into it. Lol HT knows Batman sells, and the new movie was going to do well enough to warrant a figure. Of course they will put the effort in to their biggest assist, I also don't think they did it cause QS got the license also (I doubt they even knew as they where focusing on releasing it for PO after the film dropped) that's not to say they aren't in the clear from the choices they have made in the past (like their reissues, and corner cuts). Quoting what R.R.X said in a comment, say what you will about HT but they still make great figures that is high end, and decent in price with minimal to no QC issues. As for QS if they go all out with the clothing, and materials used in their figures, and the innovation (which we see they are) then the prices they will charge will be worth paying as the higher quality will reflect that.

Eager to see their next offering. Hope we don;t have to wait until May for Gandalf. Really curious about him.

I’m eager to see what they do too. I’m not interested in most of what they have licenses for, but it’s still exciting to see how they overall do their figures. Will they continue with the magnetic bits, choose rooted vs. sculpted, etc…? It’s just exciting to see what things they have to offer and bring into the 1/6th game.

I will say that I’m quite excited for their Battinson reveal though.

I'm very excited for The Batman. I wonder if they would go all-in to the point of making Riddler, Catwoman and Penguin? I could see them try Catwoman at least.

It would be difficult to say no to a Bats/Bruce Wayne two pack.

They also mentioned doing a Joaquin Joker sometime. Queen is just going to take all my money.

I’ll fight you for him. He would be a pretty simple, straight-forward figure to do. Would you want a Dano sculpt with it? I don’t know if I’d use it, but it could be a cool addition and make it a more enticing figure perhaps.

Queen coming out to the 1/6th world has been the most excited I’ve been for this hobby in a while. It’s invigorating.
