Sculpted looks great but Rooted > Sculpted for me if I had to pick.

Brings it up to another level of realism compared to the sculpted version. Sculpted has more of a "statue" look while rooted is giving more of the "that's a real person sitting/standing" there look. It's also a great chance to have some properly rooted sculpts in the collection after Hot Toys has been serving low quality shiny plastic Barbie hair for their rooted sculpts.

Would like to grab the sculpted versions at some point though to just have them in the collection. They did a great job on both.

Glad I got sculpted and rooted. Both look really, really good.

Probably do sculpted for the Mob/Grenade pose and rooted for interrogation/jail cell.

As someone who's never owned any Joker figure ever, I cannot WAIT to get this figure on my shelves (sculpted hair).

The was no way I could afford the rooted version (I can't really afford this lol) but as someone who's shelves get... dusty 😬 the sculpted is the sensible choice anyway.

But this thing looks AMAZING.

That new video made everything look good, even Aragorn. But I'm truly impressed by that Batman. It looks so much like a shrunken down version of the character -- just what we want all our figures to be.

Joker deluxe on order, and going to pick up Batman as well (assuming there's not some odd drop-off).

Gandalf and Aragorn I'm still on the fence about.

Maybe I'll just buy the Hot Toys version of Batman for more action poses...talk about action figure lol.

InArt, I can't imagine myself doing too many wild poses as these things are $$$$$

yup everything looked a lot better in that video.

I'm with you on Gandalf and Aragorn though. I'm still not 100% on board with either even though I have Gandalf on PO 😬

Perfect description. I agree completely. As a sculpted purchaser, those pictures look incredible, and I'm thrilled. But there is no doubt the increase in realism with the rooted. Congratulations to everyone who purchased that set.

But as Wor-Gar said...I've got a feeling some will forget about those pictures and that video once the first in hand pictures come rolling through. I'd say to all- remain somewhat optimistic if you can. These look pretty incredible and I think you'll likely be thrilled with them in hand. Keep the faith!

Either way...

I think one thing I'm excited to see is how this quality passes on to other figures. Gandalf especially will be so interesting considering the sheer amount of rooted hair on him. I agree with many, the Batman is jaw dropping to me and has me extremely excited to see a Bale to go next to this. The suit sculpt is the most exciting thing to me because it gives the same lifelike feeling to me as the rooted joker, but has a much lower entry price without the need for the rooted hair.

Also, here's a question that I've had floating around my head lol. I look at all my 2022-23 preorders and I come back to this one always. I think if I could have any mass produced figure releasing in the next 12 months (or supposedly with Hot Toys lol) right now I'd pick this one. Is this set at that kind of excitement level for you too?

Everyone brace yourself when it ships Lets see how many orders survive the first pictures from collectors

This is the Queen Studios 1/3 Joker 😶
