My reasoning is because I've owned probably 30 Hot Toys or so over the years, and looking behind me now, I literally own 1 and a half out of them all.
What's half a hot toy? Are you talking about the construction mark 3 that just came out?

Are you asking if InArt will custom build each eyeball to match the scaled size of the actor’s own? Or, if an actor has very blodshot or yellowed or grey whites of the eye, will InArt capture that?

I don’t understand the question.
I meant if Inart mass produces say, brown eyes. Since they’re “actual eyes” in the sculpt and not painted on, it leads me to believe that all figures produced with brown eyes will get the same set, making figures look the same in a sense regardless of character? They say eyes are the window to the soul and are a big factor when it comes to getting likeness correct.

We’ll have to wait and see in hand I suppose. Gandalfs eyes look fantastic in that prototype photo.
I want to think positive about the eyes because they looked great in that first video that had Viper showing them outside of a sculpt.

Imagine a Jim Morrison, Ozzy, or Iggy Pop all from 1969, or a Marilyn Manson from 1996. That’s something I’d like to see Inart do. If not, Blitzway could have a big market if they go all out with that line.

Yeah and then you see their production side of things and realize that they have a long way to go.

It's a shame because they have such strong prototypes but like with what I initially feared with Inart, they don't fully have the production quality to support it.

The eyes, the gaps....my line of work deals with fraction of millimeter tolerances. I can't say I'm shocked that mass scale has some significant deviation from the near seamlessness of the proto. It's HARD to achieve that accuracy with a skilled hand, let alone mass producing molds that meet those expectations. At least not without significantly cranking up the cost of business, I suppose.

That being said, I don't think the tolerances were as close as they are on Gandalf on the Joker proto, comparatively. So maybe this is just a growing step for them and they can bring it down to a 90% the prototype spacing with Gandie and Bats.

But when it comes down to it - how does it look on a shelf? Probably pretty fine all things considered? I'm sure for many it's the ultra macro photos that makes their collection, and maybe InArt is sacrificing that audience in favor of including the feature for the larger, shelf-dweller folks.

Get ready for a big downgrade when it releases.
Yeah...their production paint have never been great...both of their Hannibals got downgraded big time from those beautiful Yelim painted prototypes. Sculpt and base itself was still great though. But I had to get the entire thing repainted from head to toe
