Great review and addresses some of the concerns with the base.

Clearly he spends all his money on figures and hasn't much left for personal care or clothes...
On a different note, I've always found it shocking to see how some people pose their figures by just holding them by the torso and pushing and wiggling to get it to stand upright. It's mind-boggling.

Nothing beats the ones that are posed straight out of the box with the arms in 20 directions and the outfit being an absolute mess.

Even if you're doing a museum pose, at least try to make the figure look a bit natural when standing there. Adjust the outfit a bit, don't have the figures leg/feet completely straight and pointed forward, bend the elbows a little bit, etc etc. Do something dammit! We spend too much money on these figures for them to look this awkward.

From the get go I had planned on selling the jail figure & dio after sitting on it for a bit, but now I'm not sure.

So where I am now is that Im not feeling the jail cell portion anymore. But the rooted hair on the regular looks really good.

There's really only the two distinct looks for Ledger Joker, and InArt has them both -- so the 2-pack really is the ultimate Ledger Joker set. Only a few bits are missing.

I'm sure people here will Frankenstien a new body for Jail Joker to fill him out a bit while maintaining the magnetic forearms. By summer, y'all will have a recipe.

Those all feel like "disguises" to me -- whereas the two versions of Joker in the InArt set are the two versions of actual Joker.

Perhaps an InArt 2-pack with Nurse and Bank Robber... but I guarantee you, people will then complain about the price for a one-scene get-up.

So, I've had my Joker proudly displayed for around two weeks. I'd purposely left him alone in the pose I previously posted as I wanted to see how the base and his ankles would hold up. Well.... last night I got home and he was leaning against the glass, which makes for a cool picture but is obviously not ideal.

His toes were still on the base, but his heels had lifted up from the magnets. So, definitely be careful with your posing. Make sure he can stand comfortably without the base first. Two weeks ago he seemed rock solid, but apparently not as solid as I thought! It seems it's important to make sure both the heels and the front section of the feet are fully magnetised. I really, really, hope that Inart keeps working on this. More coverage on the base I think would help enormously. I love how clean the base looks, but I'm getting very tempted to switch to a crotch grabber instead.

Did you pose him in a way that was not suitable or is this the fate of every jokor?

This is how I had him - not quite "straight up and down in the lightbox" (sorry) but in very much a simple pose. The ankles were fine, but I guess maybe the heels weren't fully situated above the magnets. It seems it's very finicky to get it in exactly the right spot. He's still a great figure, but things like this are a little frustrating.

I bought an extra crotch grabber for this one. The magnets are cool, but without the sturdy ankles like the Kaustic Plastic Dracula, it's kinda useless.

I suppose, but the fact he's smirking and not wearing his coat doesn't seem like enough to me to justify a whole other figure. Granted his makeup was far more smeared and faded by the end of the movie in that jail scene, but that doesn't really come through on the figure all that well, as they were painted pretty much identical.

Maybe I've got this wrong, but I'd have assumed the entire surface of the base has a layer of metal just below the surface and the magnets are in the shoes? The way I've been reading this is like there's only only a smaller sweet spot for proper magnetic grip that you have to 'feel' for? Can someone please let me know what the configuration is? I don't have an particular interest in this figure, but the engineering behind it is something I'm genuinely interested in regardless.

This review opened up the base. Basically, there are two small points that the figure can attach to - the rest is just plastic. So unless you get it exactly placed on those two panels - and yes, you have to feel for it - it's not going to be secure (as I just found out).
