You got the Joker's hair looking really good there, just like the movie.

So a good friend of mine sold me his rooted sculpt and I must say, the difference in attention to detail and paint app is a night and day difference. Gonna have to go rooted from now on. Wonder if kit can allow me to change my standard batman to the rooted one.

You know I tried this and it actually worked. I've been heavily modifying and reworking the old Sideshow comic Joker and one of the things I really wanted to improve were the jacket lapels. After seeing that ironing then hammering method, I tried it and the lapels are much sharper, lay flatter and appear thinner/less bulking than before.

I love this figure! Definitely want to do more pictures than this!
My only cons are the base needs to be one whole magnet, and the elbow joints on both figures squeak horribly, like some cheap third party figure body.
I want to slick the hair back on the jail cell version but I really don’t want to mess with that is there in case I change my mind and can’t get it back to how nice it is now.

God, that DX11 is just horrid. What were people thinking -- arguing over it, spending money improving it? There is no saving that pin-headed sculpt.

Take it away from wee DX11 first so his melted pee-head doesn't confuse you.

Howard: Everyone use our masterful DX11 as their guide to make Joker. Only we have the ability to make Joker. Artisan... not In Artisan... will make perfect Joker, once we shrink down this head a bit in production and soften the details much more like every like on DX11.

Got mine today.
I really like it, but I think the new HT prototype looks better. It'll be interesting to see how the production eventually turns out.
For a company's first attempt at 1/6 scale however, this is really impressive. I have The Batman, Gandalf and Aragorn on pre-order, and I am even more impatient now for their release.
I still want to take a hairdryer and tweezers to the hair. This shot is pretty much straight out of the box with minimal futzing.

Seriously though I'm thankful for Inart between them and the 3rd party companies they've added life to the hobby again.

In ten years, collectors will be laughing at this InArt Joker the same way. Technological progress will affect even this current work of art.

Just a month ago, it was the end-all, be-all figure. Now it is being placed behind HT's "Artisan" by some people. It is hard to stand at the top podium for any length of time...

Yet, my 10 year old Batman Nicholson Joker looks outstanding still.
