Damn that's a big shelf! I dig the look of having the purple version behind the JC version though.

I have my purple Joker standing next to my monitor on my desk and my JC Joker sitting above it on a separate white shelf.

Holy **** they look glorious in your set up. Are they lit like that all the time? If so, SICK.

And see? When one spends time to futz with their jokers, they can look amazing like yours.

My shelf is this gaudy thing under the circular stair case designed by the former owner of my home. My man cave is a WAYS off, and I wanted to display my jokers for so long. I said eff it, and took them out and placed them there.

The magnets on the base aren't really working for mine. Keeps tipping off the base in my Detolf, no matter how I situate him. They really should have done more work to figure that out before releasing this.

I think the trick is, if you haven’t tried it yet, but just to be certain:

Bring his feet closer to the edge towards the TDK logo. Just based off of the resistance and strength, it feels the most secure. Also, his ankles do feel sturdy enough, but I’d suggest you angle his entire body (using the ankles as a starting point) slightly back. He’s gonna have a bit of a hunched pose anyway so having him lean backwards ever so slightly should make him secure on the magnets without him looking like he’s drunk and needs to go home.

You wanna have the figures weight go all the way into his heels.

Sorry for spamming, but I adjusted sitting Jokers pose ever so slightly to mirror the EMPIRE magazine promo shots of ledger:

It’s subtle. But I’m happy with it.

Sorry for the pic being taken so far back…but iPad/iPhone cameras make this figure look like **** when taken up close. It’s bizarre🤔🤔

Every time you run up those stairs, your Joker wiggles recklessly...

What’s gonna suck is whenever I have my wife’s friends, friends with kids, come over for any event, I’m gonna have to put everything away. Between them running around like headless chickens and grabbing things with their Doritos stained fingers….

After my daughter is born, I’m gonna go ham with the basement. I gotta stop being dense. I gotta stop being stupid. I gotta stop being re****ed. I need my godd*** man cave!

Nice, you got the best photo of the Jail Cell version that I've seen, good work. :)

How’d you open the shirt collar like that? Looks great, and closer to the movie.

I loosened the tie, tugged at the cloth on the shoulders OUTWARDS to make them stick out more to lessen the bobble head look and naturally the collar wasn’t as stiff anymore. Then at the top portion of the collar (where in real life it would be buttoned up) I would push it downwards so reveal more of his neck. Then finishing touches like making sure the collar would flair out a little more and that’s about it. Definitely loosen the tie, that’ll help.

Also, another tip to lessen the bobble head: don’t have his vest so form fitting. Loosen the strap on the back and it won’t hug his torso. Granted a slightly beefier body would make things much simpler, but you gotta work with what ya got, know what I mean?

Gotta futz a lot with the clothing to make his head not appear that big. That’s the key.
