Found this on ebay, wondering if it would be a suitable body for 1981 Ford as Indy. It's the Sideshow Drake body.

cheers guys, a few more tweaks. Once he's done I'll get him printed on the SLA 3d printer where I work. I'm thinking of making the hair separate like the Hot Toys head in order to fit the hat. Can't be bothered to print, cast and paint two heads!

The hat on head thing is a tricky one. This was another area where HT really compromised, they compromised the facial proportions to fit the PERS and then compromised the head shape to fit the hat. If you can get away with it, do it, but, it pays to experiment before going in too deep. Are you doing your own hat?

Yeah, I reckon it might. If SSC do a TOD Indy then they will more than likely use this body.

Yep, didn't Commtech say he heard a buzz about that mystery TOD Indy for SDCC?

What is the difference between the "painted" version and unpainted? Besides the paint, they look like completely different sculpts.

Possibly a placeholder just to keep proportions consistent.

Yep as Rogerbee said, that's just a head scan I use as a proportion reference. I'm planning on making the Fedora as I can size everything to the body that way.

Seriously though, you got this down. That render is the best I've seen. Even the slouch with neck forward.

Looks amazing! In Raiders the front " pinch" of the hat was tighter. Perhaps you're going for a more universal look. Either way, it's awesome!
