Thanks for the comment

It is the new Hot Toys True Type body. All of the clothes are custom. My suggestion is that you add 1.75 CM to the lower torso, that makes all of the difference in the world, it doesn't matter if you used a toilet paper tube and masking tape, you will see the difference immediately. The Trevor sculpt is perfect for what would actually be a 13 inch figure. Comment for the record, Trevor is a Genius. Harrison Ford is like 6'2 or 6'3 or something, if they had done the body right, it would look perfect.

You should then focus on the custom clothes, which is simple a matter of matching the screen used colors and finding the thinnest materials possible (that way the clothes "hang" off of the figure) ... The new version is in the left:

Modding this figure really gets addictive, for now I think I'm finished fussing - until the KOTCS Indy is released:whip

I worked pretty hard on mine. First I bought the Relic Hunter figure back in 2007, and then I spent hundreds on the different custom accessories floating around the web. I went through a number of head sculpts before selling it altogether, so I bought myself a Sideshow and touched up the head, and the clothes, added some new stuff. Check it out.

Thanks for the compliment. Sorry for the fuzzy image, but here's a closer look:
Untitled-4a.jpg

I repainted the hat and head myself, gave the eyes a firm wipe with an acetone soaked q-tip to remove the 'doll dot' and left the pupils as is because I couldn't hope to get them as fine.

The shirt is a Relic Hunter shirt which I sewed up to get more fitted - as it was too baggy. The belt, rig and holster I made myself out of leather.

I'm one of those people who like a bit of variety in their displays and wondered how I was going to achieve this with good ol Indy. Well, inspiration hit me like a flying refrigerator and I saw potential in a new sculpt of mr Ford. So I set to work...

I liked the smirk / grin the sculpt had and wanted to add some stubble to it just as he had in Raiders .Not the best pics I'll admit but it does look better in person. The dark pieces are part of the clay that was left in the mould. The pictures don't show it but I also added the little wisp of hair on the left side of the head. I'm planning to pose this just like the Sideshow Premium Format.

I'm going to attempt to paint this up, ( unless anyone wants to do it for me ? ) and add it to one of the new slim shouldered truetype bodies.

Nice Indy-fication of Han!

The stubble looks maybe a tad heavy, but overall really nice job. :whip

Thanks Guys ! The stubble looks a bit over the top in the pictures, but in person it is very subtle. I plan to just lightly drybrush over the stubble to get the effect I'm looking for. At the beginning of Raiders he had heavy stubble , I loved this look, he also had it when he went to visit Marion in her bar. ( The "trust me " scene is one I particularly liked. )

Thanks Guys, I'll try not to keep you waiting too long. I'm waiting for some new paints to be delivered and then I'll be able to make a start.
