1/6 Indy Customizations: Image Thread

I would be in for a few Indy hats too. Especially if you do each style from the movies. Always wanted a proper raiders fedora with the taller crown. Can't wait to see what you end up making.

Got my Inigou V2 sculpt painted by Paul Prentice. I'm really happy with it, Paul did a fantastic job!





Next job is to weather it up and stick down the jacket collar.

Thought I post my indy I weathered the jacket but also change the color from the original.

What do you use to weather him? Fine grit sand paper on the jacket or just paint? Has anyone posted progress pics or a tutorial or anything?

Sweet! That is the closest to the actual color of his jacket that I have seen. Nice work!

Thanks. I actually used acrylic paints used apple barrel. The colors where khaki, territorial beige, and brown oxide. I mixed the first two and got a really weathered up look. But it came out more like the LC jacket so I used another brand called Golden artist colors, bone black on the already weathered jacket. And reapplied the first two again but lighty giving it a worn dirty look while maintaining the black.

No weathering, little futzing, and the hat's not painted yet, but I've been collecting parts, including the sculpt, for months and I was psyched to get the Yunsil outfit in the mail today, so I slapped it all together and took some shots. Daryl Dixon held the spot as favorite figure-in-the-works until today!

Now i have to sift through the pages of this thread for weathering tips.
