At first I finished with the eyes, but without success. I then did the eyes first and it was much easier. Sorry for the sideways pics, does anyone know how to resolve that?

Usually it's not an issue with horizontal pics. The best/easiest trick with vertical ones is to do the quickest, most-minimal of crops to the photo and then resave before uploading.

Thanks for sharing mbuck45. I sometimes start with the eyes but it's hard either way although I am getting a lot better at it.

As for the pictures I have no idea. It seems to be random with my images as to whether they appear the right side up or not.

Kato's prototype of the new Raiders jacket. Wish i could have gotten one it's definitely amazing. 48412596_1158374567659453_3593932962896281600_o.jpg48894850_1158374600992783_2187384577079640064_o.jpg49103438_1158374464326130_1075053382458146816_o.jpg48412224_1158374507659459_4307193702092111872_o.jpg49155153_1158374547659455_1466144110770388992_o.jpg

You cannot beat the craftsmanship. And that's clearly going to be the BEST Raiders Indy jacket available... all 15 of them. Those lucky bastards.

That said, my critic's eye twitches: I still don't think its long enough though. Drives me crazy every time. And maybe the pockets are a wee bit oversized -- just going by that bottom front view, but could be the warped lens as Kato's calipers are pretty precise. (Kato's gonna hate me now)

Agreed, he is the best 1/6th scaled clothes maker.

Can’t wait to see his final product for the 15 Raiders jackets [emoji1303][emoji1303][emoji1303]

Also:

Merry Christmas [emoji319]and Happy Holidays to all of us crazy people here on a customization thread that manage to not get deleted, and is now more than 10 years old. Have made more than one real friend from this board, and I’m always happy to see people posting their work and their thoughts.

He did say this is a prototype and the final will be slightly longer.

Looks good for the limited edition custom piece it is. It is tricky getting material that is a scale thickeness. From what I remember, that style of jacket is quite a light jacket made of quite thin leather. Some 1/6 versions I've seen have looked a little bulky. That's the main reason I still like the SSC jacket as you can futz and tuck it more than a real leather one, they have always looked a little stiff to me.

If you're not going with leather, the next best option is the stuff used by Yunsil and Iris. Of the jackets produced by Sideshow, the KOTCS is a little better than the Raiders one. Sadly. The windbreaker feel always bothered me with the Raiders release though.

I really like the Sideshow Raiders jacket myself. I painted the back flaps on mine to match the colour and dirtied them up a bit. I have the Sideshow Raiders on my Last Crusade Indy, Last Crusade bike Indy and a spare Indy I am going to sell at one point. I think it is a lot thinner than the KOTCS version which I have on my sleeping Indy. One of my Hot Toys jacket started to fall apart after I cut the lining out so I just stuck that on old Indy!

Me too, I was able to do my favourite Indy pose with it, not sure I could have done it with a leather jacket:

Having said that though, an Inigo hat would complete it.

That looks great Rogerbee. I wouldn't have known that was the Sideshow jacket if it wasn't for the little stud near the collar.

Yes I agree Mr.E.
