1/6 glasses are a pain. I hate them on my figures. I keep breaking the ones on my Matt Murdock.

The photo etched ones you'd get with DML never looked right. Fullmetal Customs does some of the best ones I've seen.

If you get one won't you need to make some alterations on the Treasure Hunter sculpt you have Roger so that it fits on properly?

Roger, the only realistic chance you have of getting one of those is if someone prefers the look of the DX05 fedora on their Inigo sculpt and doesn't want to keep hold of the Inigo Fedora. It could happen, but it's highly unlikely...

As for alterations, I'm not sure, I'm sure I've seen ones on here and they haven't needed them. I could always PM Inigo on FB, but, he's liable to wonder why I don't want the head as well!

I got myself some Super Sculpey and have been messing around with it as I one day hope to be able to make my own sculpts including an angry Indy sculpt at some point.

In the meantime I have been making Sankara stones, the Holy Grail and most recently a copy of the Grail tablet. Check it out.

Although it is hard to see in the image the writing is on the tablet. I am going to keep practicing until I get it as pronounced as possible and use my Sideshow exclusive tablet as a reference.


Works in progress so far. I reckon I could probably sculpt some hats as well. I previously put some black ribbon and a bow on some other hats I got online. If I could sculpt some I could make sure they fit snug on the heads of my Indy figures.

Guys, with 2019 gearing up for The Last Crusades 30th anniversary, what are the chances HT or SS gives us an Indy from TLC or even a two pack with Henry Jones Sr??

Wouldn't that be great??

Had to take some quick shots while I was jonesin' about it.

We really are due for a new mass produced Indy in my opinion.

If not this year I'd hope with the new movie coming it'll spark some life into the franchise and we get some more 1:6 merchandise.

I prefer just making up custom figures now. I can't even remember the last official figure I bought.

With the increasing use of de-aging technology maybe one day we will get some Indiana Jones movies from after Last Crusade leading up to WWII and set during the war years. That would be awesome. I just can't see anyone else in the role other than Ford.

Also with customs people come up with all kinds of creative ideas to make their figures better.

I finished my Grail tablet. Here it is next to the Sideshow version. I will need to work on getting the text more visible but for a first ever attempt I think it looks pretty good.

I have also repainted my Raiders Indy head again, darkening the skin tone, and put the Hasbro jacket on him. I attached a silver zip and the back buckles and also glued down the collar. Not as good as the high quality clothing but I am happy with it. Of my 15+ custom Indy figures this is in the top five for me!

Vietnam belts work well once you change the OD Green to brown.
