1/6 Indy Customizations: Image Thread

Just received my repainted Indy head back from Rismo and he's ready for action. Rismo also repainted the hatless Indy head for me; I'm just figuring out how I want to kitbash him.
I purchased the jacket, shirt, gun belt, holster, sidebag and whip many years ago from Shawn at Sovereign Studios. The pants are from the standard Sideshow Indy. They look better now that I ironed them. The boots are Medicom. The body is a Soldier Story. In the digital picture, the color looks off between the head and the body but in person it looks like a match.
Anyway enough talking, here's the pic

Hmmmmm...my Indy head is with Rismo to be painted right now and I don't know if it's because of the photography or what but the paint job is really not impressing me...His work on the hatless Indy, which brought me to him to paint my hatted one, looks much better...

I'm sure it's just the lighting...pardon the criticism. I'm just a little anxious because I've been waiting several months for my head back so my expectations are pretty high!

I am guessing it's mainly the lighting. Even though either head didn't come out looking quite like the thread you linked, I am happy.

Will a standard TrueType (broader shoulders) work with Indy's clothes? I'm having some difficulty finding a narrow TT at a reasonable price. Thanks.

Will a standard TrueType (broader shoulders) work with Indy's clothes?

The standard works just fine, the clothes are just a little tighter around the chest and shoulders and, in my opinion, don't fit as accurately as on the NS TT.

Yeah, I use NS TTs as well... The standard TT makes the sleeves appear a bit short too.

You want the Narrow Shoulders version. That's how it's named. It's a gray and orange package, not gray and green or yellow and red.

It certainly looks like the stock of narrow TTs has been depleted with everyone buying a body for their DX Joker. I don't think there's anybody left with any except overseas sellers asking $50+.

The theory is that Hot Toys is about to introduce a new TT with more muscle on the thighs and arms. It was a holiday gift to a select few. There's a thread on it in the General Collectibles forum, I believe.
