Not sure on that one. The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles first aired on 4 March 1992 and River Phoenix died on Halloween in 1993, so it looks like the plan was already made.

Finished a couple custom stands for Indy last week.

They look great Cocoboloboy.

I am currently using the Henry Jones Snr Medicom body for my custom River Phoenix Indiana Jones but does anyone have any other body suggestions for him? I would like him to be quite scrawny looking with a thin neck.

I never really enjoyed the Young Indy series. It just never felt like Indiana Jones to me. It was like they took all the excitement out of it. In The Last Crusade however I could see glimpses of the character of Indiana Jones in River Phoenix's portrayal of him.

Yeah I could never get into it either. The idea of a young Indy interacting with real historical figures was a fun one, but the whole thing was so overly earnest and family friendly that it just became a chore to watch. Which is a shame, because Flanery was really good in the role.

It just felt so contrived. The very opposite of the off the cuff style of the character and his adventures.

I made a new River Phoenix head and this time I painted him with stubble. I think it turned out better than I hoped. I really like it.

Edit: I forgot to put the scar on him!

Thanks, guys! They’re for a customer and after I made them I was really sad that I didn’t have a good Indy figure to pose on them. :( Gotta hunt one down again.

Still very much a WIP, stand in shirt and I?m waiting on some bits but I bloodied yo the Jnix head and I?m loving it lately. A8B920D8-6DB2-43E1-B770-0659459E64A8.jpeg19C7B714-E958-4B6E-9FCA-C1FCAED2C040.jpeg

I got my TonTon bag for my custom Temple of Doom Indy. It is brilliant and really improves the figure in my opinion.

I also put a scar on my custom Young Indiana Jones and have made some Holy Grails. I based them on the Sideshow ones that come with Henry Jones Snr although I also have the Gentle Giant metal one and may make some based on them at some point as well.

Next up I am working on sculpting hair on the Treasure Hunter Indy sculpt for the first time and trying to make some more Fate of Atlantis accessories.

Looks great, Ecklectic!

Nice work on the grails, I just picked up the Gentle Giant one to display among Indy's other artifacts. Still missing a few.

Thanks TonTon. Working on my customs takes my mind off other things.

In other news, I just received my NECA Flasher Gremlin today and sadly the Fedora supplied is far too large to use for Indy, yes even with the MJ Choi head. It's disappointing but I love the figure regardless and would have picked one up anyway as I am a fan of Gremlins.

I just got the Blitzway Zorro figure. It came with the best commercially made whip I have come across. Zorro has no whip keeper on his sash/ belt so you can’t put it on the figure unless he is holding it. I wonder if it can be adapted for Indy.

Yeah I'm sure it could be repainted and weathered up a bit to make a nice Indy whip. I was thinking of picking up another one for my Young Indy, since that whip was black as well.
