The middle one is Indy and the other two are stuntmen by comparison. The middle sculpt would look better on the first Indy.
Haha, I appreciate the input. I had the Sovereign jacket paired with the MJ Choi sculpt before the Yunsil jacket arrived. As you may know, the Choi sculpt is on the larger side and, to my eye, the figure's profile with the Yunsil jacket complements this sculpt. I consider the Choi sculpt expression a bit more "photogenic", like Indy is getting his picture taken, and the theme I was going for was similar to that of the old PF statue, sort of a glamour "Indy Victorious" shot with fertility idol & coiled whip in hand. I felt the cleaner Yunsil jacket pairs well with this theme, too. The Jnix sculpt and the Sovereign jacket a far more "workman" in appearance, thus the pose with his whip at the ready.

I definitely like the middle sculpt the most. Who's sculpt is it?
The original MJ Choi paired with a Hot Toys TTM19 base body. It is my personal favorite look.

I prefer the one on the left. I think it is the Jnix sculpt. The one in the middle is either MJ Choi or the knockoff Treasure Hunter, which I have and looks good except that it is oversized and the hat seems too small on mine.
Yes, the figure on the left uses the Jnix sculpt with a Hot Toys MMS261 body. As mentioned above, the middle is the original Choi. I have a Treasure Hunter sculpt, too, which I may use at a later time, but he will be paired with a DX05 fedora. I used the small one that came with the sculpt on a Freddy Krueger figure :)

Nice Indy figs, C-Brock!
Thank you, sir!

Yeah that line-up looks great!

Do you find yourself forever mixing and matching parts as new ones come along?
Of course, but it's manageable with my Indy figures. I really run into trouble doing this with the rest of my collection, which is fairly large, so it's a never-ending struggle :)

Here is an older shot, but with similar lighting conditions, showing the same MJ Choi figure but wearing the Sovereign jacket & extra-dirty SSC pants (instead of stock DX05) for comparison

Great idea of using the fedora on Freddy Krueger!

I think that the Treasure Hunter sculpt looks ok in person but photographs larger, for some reason. I think the smaller fedora certainly contributes to that effect.

The details on the original MJ are truly phenomenal as well if you ever get the chance to examine one up close.

Absolutely. Of all the things to look at in my cases, my MJ Choi Indy is one that I regularly find myself stopping at & admiring. While the sculpt photographs on the larger side, it doesn't look it as much in person, at least to my eyes.

I absolutely love the MJ Choi Indy head. Details, likeness... It's a beauty indeed, and I also find myself admiring it quite often.

The size doesn't bother me that much to be honest, as you say, in person is not that noticeable.

But one thing that bothers me a little, is the skin tone. It's more pale than it should be for a Indy in my opinion (a more tanned tone, or sweaty fit the character better).

I actually built my own hat specifically for my MJ Choi headsculpts awhile back. It also fits the Treasure Hunter, Sideshow Raiders/Kingdom and modified MJ Choi heads as well. I did two versions: one with a sculpted ribbon and one with an actual fabric ribbon. The latter I only did one of and it is on one of my Temple of Doom Indy's as can be seen in the pictures.

Anyone want a shrunken MJ Choi sculpt (halfway painted got it from someone who was having the paint done) comes with the inigou V1 hat that is fully painted. Pm me if anyone wants it.

Hello,

I own the Hot Toys Indy and want to upgrade it a little. Couple of questions:

- What's the best body replacemnet to use? (that won't cost $100)
- What's the best way to add permanent sweat the the shirt? I've read some diluted-brown-black and future shine polish, but not sure if valid.
- Is there a way to remove the pers without breaking everything? The 4 screws inside only removes the little joystick. I think everything is glued.

Thanks

Does anyone have the grail, grail diary and grail tablet from Henry Jones Sr? Used to have the exclusive, sold it, and now I regret loosing the relics.

Here it is the infamous shrunken MJ sculpt. Sorry for the bad light it's late I'll take better images tomorrow.received_1077829479366071.jpgreceived_138291944844040.jpgreceived_1373883106324441.jpgreceived_493915938272323.jpg
