That Ed Ma paint work is something else. I'll have to send him the next sculpt I need painted. What was the total turnaround time?

Ed.ma told me as I also asked it's about a week.

Was completed 10 days after he received it. Problem is, getting there took 3.5 months.

Yep. Also, I sent it via the cheapest option through USPS. Dropped at my local post office on April 16th, got an email from him on July 17th that he received it and got an email on July 26th that it was completed. He shipped back to me on July 29th and I got it today Aug 3rd. I'll assume because of the short delivery back to me (and the $50 cost) he shipped it back with some sort of express shipping.

I've been patiently (not really) waiting nearly 2.5 years for a sculpt to be painted so I like the sound of 10 days or even 3.5 months.

Really looking forward to this sculpt. Quick overlay on top of my current figure to check sizing etc. Andrea is sending me the proto to double check sizing and fitting on the HT ANH Han Solo body to be sure everything is to scale.

This is likely be my last Indy sculpt until if/when Beastmaster offers his. Then this one will likely go to my Cairo.

Lot of work to go yet. Sizing/fitting for hat yet as well.

That is shocking. There is absolutely NO excuse for why a paintjob should take that long unless you were told upfront that there was a huge backlog of orders that needed to be completed before they got to yours. Shocking.

Looks good! Is this different than the one Andrea already made over at Custom One Sixth? Looks a little different than the most recent renders they posted over there.

Only difference is the additional neck/chest. And it'll have a full sculpted forehead as I'm planning to get it haired and fitted with Andy's new hat.

Cool! Just checking. I guess it was the angle making it look a little different (aside from the neck/chest). I’m definitely looking forward to having Andrea’s sculpt. Will just have to see about getting it painted since I really don’t have time these days.

Is Andy for sure making Indy hats? Or is it sort of a by person case? Sorry, I’m very out of the loop with things but also understand if certain stuff is only for a select few
