Got a dx05 incoming. Already looking at some replacement parts for the belts etc. But need to replace the body as well since it’s broken. What’s the best option that won’t break the bank?
I feel like a broken record, but I swear by the JX toys S01. It’s affordable, great joints and the build is great for Indy.

Received the new Wolverine body as I was interested in the chest piece given the hair detail. Seems like it would make a great Indy if the arms are swapped out as the shoulders/biceps are too beefy.

Color is pretty close to the ANH body, a little less orange and more skin/red. The hair on the neck is barely visible once the head is on but it's still a cool detail.

Nice! I bought one of these bodies as well but its part of my "combine and ship later" set of things that MD offers so I haven't seen it in hand yet. I like that it has a more natural tanned skin tone color than just the brown color of the ANH body. The hair paint on the neck and body turned out nicely as well.

Yeah, it's a little less orange than ANH, agree that it looks more natural. I got a bunch of seamless Cario arms painted to match to the ANH body, I'll have to see how close they are to this chest piece. Forgot about those

Even though the difference seems pretty clear when they're side by side, I would imagine having the shirt on will help alleviate any discrepancies in skintone paint between the two and appear much more subtle.

What do you guys think of the new Harrison Ford sculpt for ROTJ Han Solo?

I like it. And as much as I like the Waruna Han sculpt which I think has the superior likeness, you also need a costly superior paint app to really bring it out much like what 357 did with TonTon's sculpt. Out of the box, the HT is a win for the most part IMO, especially when you factor in cost. The clothing itself looks superior to the custom GeeWhiz ROTJ clothing set that probably cost as much if not more as the HT figure.

And b/c of that, if HT were to make a new, younger Indy -whether it's ROTLA, TOD, TLC or even DOD- I would probably prefer it over any custom sculpt simply b/c of the more than likely moving eyes, great out of the box paint apps that match the rest of the body and overall value compared to what you have to pay for custom stuff.

To @Wor-Gar 's point from another thread though, as nice as (some of us) think this ROTJ Han is, it's not that art/realistic level that the InArt Phoenix Joker is.

I think Han looks great aside from the hair. Hope they fix that but can live with it if they don't, but promising for if they do another Indy. Nice to have a figure come ready right out of a package like this and for roughly the price of an unpainted sculpt these days.

That's something that I always hope for. I similarly mentioned in one of the Batman threads that it's nice to open a figure and not immediately feel like you have to start modding, customizing and switching things out as soon as you get it out of the package.

Needs botox, but, it's the best Ford they've done. Not sure it's the best Ford ever, but, it's getting there. Can the same sculptor get an Indy over the line, we will see......

I think it is a nice sculpt, and the eyes being posable is also a plus.

However I think the feature they could improve this sculpt with is the nose.

Ford has a really asymmetrical nose, and this nose, if close to accurate, is symmetrical.

The things you see when you collect....
