I'd be hesitant on the sandpaper though unless you know it's genuine leather. If it's pleather it could likely tear. Otherwise use earth tone pastels.

Creases I would suggest water treating it then bunch it up around the elbows or wherever you want the creases to appear. You can hold it in place with rubber bands.

If water treating doesn't work spray it with stiffen quick to help hold the creases.

Thank you! This is very helpful. I think I'll go with the pastels approach for now since it's safer.

This is my Indy so far. Mostly Hot Toys and Present Toys pieces.

I'm pretty much done with my Indy in terms of bothering with completing him he's pretty much where I started with him 10 years ago a worn out yunsil shirt and pants the an unpainted sculpt. No jacket. I'm either going to sell this off at a loss as I paid near thousands of dollars on him and have lost most of that money to customs. Or just half ass finish him and sell him for less. Smh

What's your current setup these days? Sculpt, gear, etc

Shirt and pants are yunsil from their last run. Web belt from FM and gun belt is Kato buckle and loop on a FM belt. Holster is from raveneye. Shoes from pickz, whip from Joe strain, satchel was made by Kato using his strap and redone HT satchel merek added the bottom buttons to the satchel. Sculpt is inigo V3 unpainted. Body is Wolverine 74 from HT (same as Han solo)with banner arms .

Sad to hear you're thinking of giving up on him. I know it can be frustrating as I've almost thrown in the towel on mine and I haven't been at it as long as you have so I can only imagine how you're feeling. Sounds like you have a lot of great parts that would be good for parting out though as I imagine you'd maybe make more money that way. Fully figures seem to be harder to sell at good prices

I got burned to much from customs. Especially the Jagzz Jacket run and now the recent Siberian customs run. I also lost my deposit for Waruna sculpt as I couldn't pay final balance for the sculpt. I'm pretty much tired and don't want to bother anymore. Only other alternative is to wait for DOD Indy and get parts from that and end it there. But the years spent, and money spent are in the past, and I do not want to spend anymore on this.

I hear you.
I'm done with custom Indy building. After I get my Waruna sculpts back from the Painters I'm wrapping it up.

Waruna has already released three new Ford sculpts since I mailed off my original Waruna Indy to the painter (Deckard and Stern/Smiling Indy variants). By the time it's back we'll be on Waruna Indy 8.0

CUT TO: HT Indy Dial of Destiny drops and people go Indy wild again...
For many the DOD figure will be a sufficient base for a Raiders Indy given that a lot of people were using the Present Toys. Add a sculpt, gunbelt, a new bag strap, and perhaps a proper shirt and the you're all set. I'm hoping they lightened the pants just a bit.

At least you have him done brother. I'll probably never see him complete and satisfied that's just how this game goes it seems.
Yep, that's what I mean... it pulls alot of people right back in. Then they start thinking "I could improve this", and the cycle begins again...

For me, I'm looking at DoD Indy as a fast way to make a TLC Indy.
I pretty much going to just have that as a main Indy until HT does a new younger version in which case I'll finally be done with it. As long as the outfit keeps the same quality as DOD Indy. Leather goods finally.

Yup, I'll send sculpts off excited to get done then wait years and the excitement is gone or worse the once best sculpt is now not the best anymore. ******* annoying as all hell and tbh I'm tired of it. That's why I'm just done.

After I get my 4 sculpts back, if I bother with anything else Indy it'll be an OT Indy from HT or if InArt or JND can manage a miracle and do one.

This is what I'm waiting for. Hell I'll take a young Indy from DOD if it means I can have that version I'll just add the gun belt and satchel in the end.
Or who knows maybe DID will give us an incredible "Archeologist" someday. And we would have pretty much a perfect Indy from them. Just source a better sculpt.

Ha wouldn't that be a suprise. They would improve the outfit for sure and give us something good. Sculpt could even be decent but for sure getting a better sculpt wouldn't be to hard. But one day soon I hope. If I'm out of the hobby before that happens I'll come back one last time just to own it. Lol

Whenever I was weathering jackets, I'd use what they used on the actual ones which is Fuller's Earth. I'd brush it on, shake off any excess and then I'd fix it with dullcote. I think I even did it with my Figuarts jacket.
