1/6 Jabba and Throne room

Quick question. I don't know much about all of this as I don't collect 1/6 at all. I have a chance at getting Jabba and his throne base for 200.00. Is that a great deal or no?

This is about my only 1/6 I have. That is a great deal if, especially if that includes shipping. The base weighs alot and Jabba is big too, but hollow. For that price, I would do it.

Considering these are long gone (and how great they are) I'd jump all over it! Particularly his throne, that seems to be getting harder to find.

I love mine! The best Jabba representation so far IMO.

Yep, $200.00 seems to be a good deal. Just the base retailed for $199.99 when released, while Jabba was $119.99. Shipping might be a killer, though.

I sold all my 1/6 figures except this one. I thought about selling it but just couldn't do it... its just a great setup... and heck yeah $200 for both is worth it.

I passed. I had not seen it in person yet (my sister saw it and told me about it) anyways that thing is HUGE!!!! I just have nowhere to put it. If I the "perfect" spot then I would have snatched it up.

He was actually selling for 250.00 I am pretty sure I could have got it for 200.00. I offered 180.00 and he said he would take my number and call me in a day or two.

I kept looking at it thinking how cool it looked but in the end I told him not to worry about it. I just don't have the room and I don't buy things just to turn around and sell them. He also only had the box for Jabba and not the throne.

In all honesty, half the reason I wanted this was because I live in the middle of nowhere and seeing this stuff around here just does not happen.

Anyways thanks for all the advice. Who knows perhaps I will break down. Looking at Mandible's display with the GG Leia makes it very tempting.

The thing about this piece is not only is it huge but it's contagious. Once you have Jabba and the Throne you want to pick up Bib Fortuna, Boussh, S.Crumb, etc. It adds up.

I had this.. and its awesome for sure ! I sold it because of space issues and focus more on 1/4 scale.. but that was surely a great price

Around $200 is a killer price for the setup. But it is quite large, which is the number one reason a lot of people ended up selling theirs, I think. And if you really want to do it right you need some other stuff as others have mentioned.

for just 200? man I'd create space for that. I have mine setup and sold some of the supporting cast, they just add to the clutter.

Yes... you need to go all out or very minimal with the support items/cast.

I have mine flanked by two GGs and it looks awesome.. can't bring myself to sell.

Great looking setup.

I think it's escaped Sideshow's mind for the time being, but I really want some 1/6 aliens to go with Jabba. I hoped they would bust out some more aliens given how awesome Hammerhead turned outl. Squidhead, Yakface and ReeYees top my list.
