1/6 KUMIK "This Is It" Michael Jackson

Didn't see a thread for this new one, so I thought I would start it and see what everyone thinks of it. I have never ordered a Kumik figure before, but this is my first. Its on its way from Asia now.

Sculpt looks pretty good, it's a very decent likeness - but it should have been a neckless sculpt imo, that seam is an eyesore and the paint matching isn't great. On the other hand the neck is nicely sculpted, and that would've been sacrificed with a neckless sculpt. Tailoring isn't great either. I wonder why they didn't go with a Smooth Criminal MJ, fans have been crying out for it.

I got a Kumik MJ a couple le of years ago, it's good but not great... This one looks better though, I think the outfit is a bit off. But looks cool overall

Kumik makes good bodies, but this figure? Might as well get the dolls from the 80's.

Well MJ looked like Tilda Swinton in his later years so the sculpt is decent there.


Honestly though the DX Bad figure is arguably the best figure Hot Toys has ever produced. If you're an MJ fan you should just spring for that one.
