Man, this is gonna make for one heck of a diorama when the DX comes out.

Amazing project! I love seeing this sort of thing take shape. The buildings look absolutely perfect.

Sorry so long between updates. I have 20 copies of the Well of Souls now. They are in an off-white resin. Still waiting to hear how much the rest of the buildings will be. Hopefully, I'll hear about that soon. Thanks for all the comments. I'll be glad when I have all the copies.

Yeah, mine will be much lower and will be here much sooner. Oh well. I'm committed to 20 total sets. Hopefully, they'll find good homes.

I would still like to see how these turned out. Obviously the scale of the Sideshow piece is cheated quite a bit. And even the screen shot comparisons in the other thread show the sculpt is quite a bit off.

Hey, I'm still in. I like both yours and SS's for different reasons. The SS one is cool for the "flavor", with the rear wall, the sand on the floor, etc but as others have pointed out, the dimensions have been cheated quite a bit out of necessity. Yours is quite accurate to the look of the actual set and will make a great display!

Thanks for the pick me up. I really appreciate it. Molds are being made for all the remaining buildings. Probably be another 2-3 weeks and everything should be ready, I hope.

Paul, at least you can take comfort in the fact that yours is the complete city, Sideshow's is just part of it. They do have the little peg board, wall, etc but those probably wouldn't be that hard to make on one's own. That and a little play sand and wha-la! I still think you have a pretty viable product here.

I ordered the Sideshow set when it came up yesterday. Then I came over here to these boards to hear what folks were saying about it when I found this thread.....

About the only thing I'd like to have to go with it would be the rectangular slab that Indy sticks the staff in.

Here's a backdrop I was working on. Not sure how well it will blow up. But its kinda nifty. My Photoshop skills aren't the greatest, but it looks alright, I guess.
