Mine says it's at the local post office since 10:00 a.m. I don't know why I didn't get it today hopefully tomorrow I'm going to go down to the post office.

That's too bad, usually water will work unless the material is super synthetic. Then nothing will work.

Water worked to a degree on his leg.

I didn't soak him yesterday but dabbed it on, and it's dried leaving the bulge at his left thigh reduced.

Overall he doesn't look sharp enough yet because the leg's still too creased on the upper part. It could probably do with a full soaking, and pull the material down so the creases are focused towards the ankle to imply the weight of the material.

Before that I'll see if I can pull the trousers up any higher, and tighten his belt to keep them there.

For me he's pretty much a half decent figure.

Sculpts are great, the torso section is great, flare gun, mask, buzzer and stand are good.

The hands are rubbish (again), and I hate the arms and legs of the suit. Posing the arms is like trying to pose an inflated balloon.

The best thing that came out of this set was the ability to upgrade the MAT002 with the Museum parts.

I lost patience with the main event and demoted him behind Penguin.

One day I may be inspired to soak his arms and legs completely and fix him into a pose.

I subscribed to his YouTube recently. He puts up short videos every few days of his collection and new acquisitions.

While waiting for inspiration to strike I searched Google for stills of the Mob Joker, but they weren't forthcoming.

I had to make my own:

The legs aren't shown in the scene, but the arms are closer fitting than Mars' reproduction, and fold into tight creases as opposed to Mars' larger, billowing folds.

The gloves also appear to change from the purple with the paler turn back, to solid grey for the close-up, and then back again in the longer shot.

The rest of the figure is so good that it was frustrating not to be able to get the maximum effect from him.

The stills pushed me over the edge, and I took the plunge. Or rather Joker's arms took the plunge into a mug of water.

The material is hard to work even when wet and the best I could manage was to condense it, but to my eyes (and OCD) it's an improvement.

I'm feeling better about him.

It's easier to discern in hand standing back rather than from the photos, but he does look more human and natural now.

When I was struggling to describe how he seemed before, I wrote that posing his arms was like trying to bend an inflated balloon. But it was more akin to putting a stiff rubber tube over your arm and bending your elbow, and imagining how the tube would react.

Do you use it while he's wearing the clothes?

As it's a 1940s style suit the trousers don't have a sharp crease down the front. This is the kind I think they're meant to be, but the Mars Joker's lack the material weight to make them drape:

I wouldn't know where to begin using it on the sleeves.

The right lapel is one place that would benefit as there's a wrinkle that needs straightening. I'll use water for that.

That looks a LOT better @Asta. From the moment I saw the first in hand pics of this I planned on putting the entire jacket in a bowl of warm water to try and take some of the baggyness out of it. Good to know it will survive the plunge.
