I can’t stand DHL, mines been sitting in their facility since Wednesday and mind you, this facility is 10 min from me. Packages sit there for weeks before they hand over to USPS for final delivery.

Mars knocked this out the park, I'd planned to sell this but keep museum parts but I gotta say I love this!

Added a 10p coin to the beret to weight it down. I cannot stress how good this figure is!

Just unboxing mine now and wow do the colours on the suit pop!

Reminds me how much I love the Burton costumes. Heath's performance as the Joker is unmatched but I much prefer the style of Jack's Joker.

Hot Toys really missed a trick not going further with the 89 and Returns lines but honestly I no longer care. Mars have us covered. Always room for improvement of course but they show a passion for the subject matter, a willingness to listen to feedback and the lower prices are a nice bonus!

Not much I can add that hasn't been said already. Not futzed with him properly yet but he's instantly one of my favourite figures.

Glad Mars have improved the ankles on their figures. Both Keaton and this guy stand just fine without support.

He's not perfect. As others have said the hands suck, the hat is terrible and the suit material is a little restrictive. Still, all considered it's a phenomenal figure and all for less than £150.

Hey, Wor?! This might make you feel a little bit better. Kit has been shipping crap out like crazy that I confused the shipments. What I thought was Mr. J turned out to be Blade. I haven't received Mr. J, yet. He's cleared custom, so maybe in a day to two. With some luck tomorrow. Before the rains come.

Well, I'm sorry to hear you didn't get your Mr J when anticipated, but its good to know mine isn't an unusually slow package.

No update today, so no way I will get this until Tuesday now. 14 days shipping. Would have to be this one.

Mike should be delivered tomorrow :yess:

Stiff as hell and not very good for holding most of the accessories.

The amount of hands and quality with the Romero Joker was soo good in comparison to this.
I agree. I was hoping that since this Mr J wasn’t a KO of the DX08 that they would put the same effort into some new hand sculpts that actually work well with the accessories like Mars did with the 66 Joker. But nope, just same ol recasted HT hands that weren’t great to begin with

Now that I've seen this picture, I wonder if I have any chance at getting the pants to sag to the shoes like this zoot suit does?

I was surprised how baggy the upper legs were on the real suit when I finally found a photo of it, which tallies with the 1940s design inspiration.

Mars' trousers aren't that wide, but they seem to have put more fullness into the arms instead.

I bet if you really soaked the pants, you could probably get them to sag down like that -- might require something pressed along the side to hold the pants in place as they dry. I just have no idea how spongey the material is. Can't wait to try anyway.

I was mulling over yesterday whether I should lower him into a bowl of water and see if the shape could be improved.

Doing the arms was a matter of condensing the material, but with the legs it's the opposite. They need to dry wider until they reach the ankles, but the water will probably tend to make them stick to his legs.

So I don't know whether to try it, or just be happy with the way he is now - since in the film itself I don't think you ever see the legs to know how they should look.
