I think Dam Toys went to make more of them because they sold so good and are reason of the Ada Wong delay.

Probably you are right, bc these releases are all over the place. So I guess they produced a new batch.

Didn't want to bump the Ada thread and give false hope lol...I thought we'd get an Ada shipping timeline before Halloween, maybe there's still hope, she's still my most-wanted figure for the rest of this year.

Also, with all the new stuff in the 1/6 world, I hoped Damtoys would unveil an RE4 license, guess not. I'll wait until Halloween then give up lol

I swear these figures always ship right after I've spent my last payday. lol

Leon and Claire would also look pretty bad in that lighting and photo quality, hopefully some decent photos show up soon before everyone cancels their orders lol. The face in these new photos is just muddled pixels from the phone compensating for bad lighting and focus.

EkiaHobbies is the only US retailer I could find that still has it for preorder but I think they require full payment up front. Sideshow has it for waitlist, and I think it's very likely your waitlist will convert before it releases, because I had the two Claire figures waitlisted and both converted for purchase before the release date, I don't think I saw anyone say their Leon or Claire waitlist didn't convert. But if you don't want to take the chance waitlisting I've also heard good things about KGHobby that was linked above. And I agree she looks good lol

Repainted the eyes and hair...which of course doesn't show up very well on camera.
Still trying to figure out how to lighten them up without making it look like he's got grey hair. lol

Pull the trigger on Claire as AliExpress had discounts a few weeks back. Pay around $250 with no extra charges. I'll check later if I got the vest defect or I got lucky.
Anyway, I'm happy I finally have both classic Leon and Claire

I got one of the replacement vests when Dam issued them. Funny thing is, it looked almost the same. Lol

That's too bad, Dam's quality control was kinda lacking in this release. I guess I would have hated more if the head was horrible or there where guns missing but, still, the vest is iconic on Claire and the misalignment and even the vest not fitting her as good as in the promo photos is terrible

Yeah I noticed that as well. A TBL S46B would've been a better choice, the S47B was the only spare one I had lying around at the moment.
Only thing I don't like about these two TBL bodies is how they made the butts stick out too far. I guess Claire's just been going extra hard at those squats.

I got an S46B and the color is definitely off here too. Frustrating.
