Just grabbed this from OneSixthKit. Looks pretty good and the price is still right. I need to stop buying Star Wars figures though. Jeez. I’ve bought and pre-ordered about thirteen or fourteen since April.

Caved and finally bought this. Expect a preorder from hot toys any day now. For $150, it’s not bad as a glorified Barbie. Body is total crap but to stand there and do nothing, it does its job.

I swapped her body for a smaller one (WorldBox AT201) and now she is almost the size of the official Padme.

I didn't do anything. When I swapped the body I thought the dress would be too big but in the end the dress looks better on a smaller body, as you can see it folds right at the feet and gives it that circular appearance like in the movie.

Also here is a size comparison without the stand base and the box of the body I used.

I picked up the Disney store Amidala not long back. Might have to properly set it up for pics at some point. I suspect that combing it with Play Toys one and possibly new body might produce something great. Just need to grab the Play Toy one

I delayed my decision to customize mine as i was afraid to deal with the dress. Looking at yours, i will definitely have to move forward with this project.

It's not perfect but it works, what makes it not look that bad is that the gems at the end of the dress are at the foot level, so you can give the rest of the fabric a round look.
Anyway the default body is crap, it's not that Padme can be posed in many ways with that dress but even the arms were flimsy and the hands looked like Barbie's so it's worth the replacement and it doesn't necessarily have to be a small body like WorldBox AT201 it could be AT203 which is a bit bigger. I chose AT201 because it's almost the same size of HT Padme's body.
*I talk about WorldBox because it's the only brand of female body I've bought due to the joints and stability, I have no idea about other bodies*

I bought it on AliExpress. I don't know how much that translates to in your local currency and I chose the suntan version.
