I am curious. Is this cheaper than the BCS official version? I am afraid that the BCS version might not have all the bells and whistles. That said, does the BCS version has a functional phone compartment? If not, I would go for this.

don't know about the phone compartment... this is quite cheaper... but mainly, this is WOOD!! and it's lovely, and amazing! and FUN!!!

There is no phone compartment built in but the door is made to be hinged and opened. Vash has done this, you can see it in his pics. There are already laser cut openings for those that want to do this. Scratching a phone should not be too terribly difficult for the talent on this board I would imagine. I would love to actually offer this as an option some day.

Crap! i am almost sold on this since while I think the BCS will also be of wood, it comes with a bonus outfit. However, it is a mass-produced product, so it might not be good as a kit. As for the door hinges, as long as there an option to add it, then that is fine for me because I think it is important. Not having the actual phone is fine since I am sure a similar phone can be found on ebay. If Vash is going to make a phone for his Tardis, I hope his casts them and sell them here.

I might likely bend and get this kit as nine's Tardis since I doubt BCS would make one for him as his is the same as Ten's. I can see them making a Bad Wold redeco variant as nine, but that would be a variant that isn't necessary, imo. Do you offer classic ones?
